Hi, just heard about you through wikipedia and started to check your videos out. Anyway, just to play devils advocate regarding the Putin thing, since that happened in Russia it could be a cultural thing. In the same way that if you give someone a business card in Japan you should give it using both your hands, and recieve it with both of them. I don't know about Russian or Chinese culture, but perhaps thats how they do things over there.

I agree with you completely. Society today seems to be so overly analytical about things. I mean, obviously we need to be conscious of the existence on sexual assault,but sometimes people tend to get carried away. The vicar did nothing wrong, and because the media got a hold of the "controversy" and people have made such a fuss, it has cost him his job.

I think it has something to do with public opinion. Maybe dude (bloke, whatever) wasn't fired because his actions were wrong, but maybe to ease the publics opinion of the school. I mean, even presidents have been known to lie to sway public opinion. Its just the schools way of saying "Yea, we fired him. We did something about it. His fault, not ours."

untill i was seven i lived on the same street. I don't know why exactly the new neighbours didn't like us, but our house was egged and one night our window was shot through with an air rifle. When we called the police they said there was nothing they could do, even though we knew the names and address of the people who had done this. i can remember a few years back when a 5 year old boy was scolded and reprimanded, and his mother questioned, when he kissed another 5 year old girl on the cheek!
this new and intense fear of any and all physical contact between two human beings has gotten to ridiculous levels. it's as though there's no such thing as innocence anymore.
it's incredibly depressing.

Bloody right too. The "handwringers" as they seem to have become known have really gone too far. "Policital correctness gone mad" was a phrase which popped up a few yrs back but people really are getting fed up to the back teeth now. I don't know what the answer is but a lot of people just need to buck their ideas up and stop getting on the case of everyday normal people.
