I hope not a lot of tree huggers see this one. Letting that animal lay there still breathing and doing nothing to put it out of it's misery is anything but sportsman-like. I hunt myself an I understand that it's not always possible to stop an animals suffering due to certain circumstances but this is just poor ethics.
