Every year they should hold a small fun dog show with like agility for everyone to get in on. I love pitbulls and one day I would like to get one as a pet, I think they are sweet dogs if raised right.

HELLL YEA i love pits and would never want my dog to fight !! i saved my pit from the streets his past owner clipped his ears and didn't feed him much i found him on the streets took him in got him shots cleaned him up and got him nice thick and healthy he's 4 yrs old now and seems way way happier

Superb concept!!! It makes me happy to see so many dogs saved from dog fighting. Mostly it's young men that own that type of dog who don't know that the dog can be a loving and happy familydog... SPREAD THE WORD GUYS - STOP DOGFIGHTING ALL OVER THE WORLD!!!!

Pass John Kerry's dog fighting bill which would make dog fighting a federal crime even without interstate involvement, would help ENORMOUSLY to fight dog fighting as felony state laws are insufficient to deter this blood sport.

I work in a California shelter, and half our dogs are pit bulls or mixes. They are the toughest ones to get adopted, and many are euthanized every week.

Yet people continue to breed them all over the area for their "status". It's a huge problem, and I hope there are many more programs like this started because of this.

i think this is a great thing to do. it shows people that pitt arent born savage, its how cruell people raise them. any dog can be as sweet or as savage as the trainer makes it. its only because of its physique that makes it so apt for fighting (you wouldnt fight chihuahuas now would you?) and those bad owners have given this beautiful breed a bad rep resulting in thousands being destroyed for being a pitt.

With purses that can reach $100,000 per pitbull fight, along with illegal weapons and drugs (mainly cocaine-they feed these dogs cocaine to make them fight better)-I am hoping soon John Kerry's dog fighting bill will pass (which Obama and Biden co-sponsored) which would make dog fighting a federal crime even without interstate invovlement. I wrote to every senator (snail mail) across American recently begging them to pass this bill, with photos of mangled dogs due to this cruelty.
