This phone is horrible.. my touch screen froze.. I can't type without it overriding everything and add on I can't hit any wigets or apps .I really want to get a new phone I know they will give me issues. More than likely I will have to pay for it SMDH

The Samsung Caliber does suck when it comes to large youtube videos. I think the only time MetroPCs Borrows Connection is when you are roaming. Other then that no.

they use connection borrowed from others which means your video and tv on youtube will always freezze up and be not good...dont be fooled by promises of 4g..which means nothing because of their connections....ffor 10 more you can go to another phone co. service and get complete service. though it will mean a contract

you tube is real bad on the metro samsung caliber it goes in and out and freezes metro doesnt have good connection so if you get the phone know that it wont work very much on youtube......

I would highly recommend the new samsung craft or the black berry curve (new one) from metropcs because you can really enjoy the phone since it has wifi built inside just saying. Also both are good brands and the samsung craft is just like the samsung caliber but with improvements. They should of at least change the software

@Maximo121091 yea i understand what you're saying the connection speed on youtube is rather slow on this phone, and it tends to time out alot. also it only plays 3g2 videos so i have to have 'any video converter' just to get good vids or movies, my friend sent a vid to me today and file wasn't supported cuz it was a mp4

@superjake360 do you have 3G connection where you leave well EVDO. In your area if not then it can lag a good amount of time. I have a 1x connection but mines moved smooth sometimes. Depends on the video size. Also. Delete your cache nowznd thenitcan make it lag if not not eve load.

do you know if metro pcs has evdo signal in los angeles evdo is supposed to be 3g signal i read in a website that metro pcs had launch the evdo a.k.a 3g in los angeles but all i get is the 1x signal do you any info...

@psphacks32 you should call MetroPCS and complain if you are getting 1x signal in a 3g city. I am in the SF Bay area and all we get is 1x which is lame. You can't use the phone at 100% because of the slow connection speed. I wish it had wi-fi.

Ok my bad you can watch youtube on this phone. You just have to wait for it to load. It wont show it loading it will seem like it freezes then just pop up. Some viedoes will buffer and freeze, but it does work.

@Elisee58 Yeah to me it all depends on the signal you have the better Data coming through the faster it moves and less Buffering .. But yes.. As I know. MetroPCS.. Samsung Caliber, Samsung Finesse, and Samsung Code, I think Black Berry Curve. Are all capable to support 3GP (Format) That allows you to watch videos . On youtube. .. (They are viewable on Youtube) Make sure it's a Mobile site.. If you want the best.. Phone to watch Youtube videos it will be the Samsung Caliber. (Believe Me)

@reyesguicho214 The phone doesn't come with games already downloaded but you can get games. on @metro just cost some money lol..

Just Connect your phone yo your PC.

go to You Tube Search for favorite song or Videos. etc

Then copy the URL on the Browser

Go to KEEPVID

Paste the URL link of the you Tube as shown on the website

Click download.. Sometimes have to do it twice

Then click save/ Download

you can save it to your computer or directly to your phone.

@selenababe2 With the Samsung Caliber, you only have one optional plan which is the $50 plan. To me it's good because if they had Smartphones and they were offering the 40, 45, 50, or 60 $ plans then that wont mean saving money for you Plus you get everything with the $50.

Just like all their smartphones it requires HTML Browsing.

@reyesguicho214 [ It does now and then it depends on your connection also it can depend on the video as well . Long videos can buffer sometimes. Shorter ones do it less. never put it on HQ always on Normal unless your in a 3G network area.
