There was so much natural reverb in that arena that you can hear my last note carry on for several seconds after I move the microphone away from my face - it would have been difficult to sing with a backing track! I liked it though, nice having your voice resonate through the rink. :)

Thanks! It was a great experience and I'm hoping I'll get to sing more anthems in the future. I'd like a crack at the Star Spangled Banner too at some point. I wish I had captured my previous performance on video as I felt it was stronger overall. Of course, I'm my own worst critic.

The Star Spangled banner is very challenging. That's one I've never done (except on my Strat cranked up a la Jimi), but I really like the melody - I know what you mean about being you're own worst critic - I'm ready to quit after every gig.
