The context for this passage is verse 32, in which Jesus refers to the fig tree in bloom (end of the Jewish diaspora.) For 2000 years, this was a mystery to be revealed. It is now history. The reason you don't know the words of Jesus is because you don't do His will.

I think most religious authorities will accept the antichrist and tell people to worship him. They are probably going to use science to convince people. @jayorama1 With all due respect, the man has been dead for 2,000 years, and his legacy tainted by men who embody the exact opposite of what he embodied. When the Church falls and people see the lies, deceit and corruption for what it is, only then can there be any place for the virtues Jesus stood for. As long as his so-called emissaries keep misleading people, they will not see him for what he is.

My friend, the Lord Jesus appeared to me on May 12, 2010, at 4:25pm, and I can assure you that He is *not* dead. I was warned of things to come. You are not accountable to "emissaries," the church, the vatican, the Pope, or to me. We are ALL accountable to HIS words and it is to Him that we will all bow when He returns. Time is very short.

Jesus promised great signs in the heavens before His return, and here it is; in the passage you quoted, he warned against those who claim to BE Him. Big Difference.

I think most religious authorities will accept the antichrist and tell people to worship him. They are probably going to use science to convince people. For example the antichrist may be presented as a benevolent "alien race" or something like that. The most important is to read the bible, pray, and be ready to testify for Jesus. What do you think ?

The physical laws that formed our cosmos are not (according to cosmologists) the same as those in existence today, thus we can only measure what is in the known universe. The existence of God, however, is remarkably well supported by three things: 1) the fact that we ourselves perceive a reality beyond ourselves; 2) physical reality itself, which has no "reason" to exist; and 3) the absence of forensics in the physical world to disprove the validity of religious faith.

Jesus appeared to me on May 12 at 4:25pm wearing his grave clothes, including the face cloth, or sudarium. I had never seen a depiction of this artifact, and was, in fact, unaware of it until later. I was terrified, as I didn't immediately recognize who it was. In the previous thirty years, I had not attended church but once, nor were any of my friends converts. Jesus warned me of events to come, and we have now entered into that time. Jesus Christ is on His way.

Hi, I will try to answer your questions. Belief in Christ *follows* repentance. Those in your position imagine a kind of mental process that leads to a new "world view," or as a way to describe *how* Christians think. The truth is that we believe because he comes into us. It's a dynamic reality. A philosopher once said that if God could be proved, he would be just another thing in the world. Regarding creation, a day with God can last a billion years. He has lots of clocks.

@MyPianoWish I too like to believe that everything can be explained scientifically, but the fact of the matter is that it can't. As a Christian we have "faith" which is defined as believing in what we cannot see. Have you seen these fossils? or is your faith in the scientists that claim they date back millions of years. Also, God created the world prior to the fall of mankind, we do not know how time then corresponds to time now. I encourage you to keep asking questions, and may God bless you

@MyPianoWish many believe that this is a young earth and that the six days of creation in gen1 are 24 hour days. Others believe that these days are figurative, and that God directly intervened at various points in the long evolutionary process.
