This is a weak version of this recipe. She just adds pre-made caramel to the recipe, and doesn't emulsify the custard completely. Maybe find a better version if you're going to go to the trouble of making your own ice cream.

Cool video the only way I usually make ice cream is in a plastic bag. But this way looked easier than shaking a cold bag for 15-20 mins.
