Well the battle music is actually all one file I edited. Just look up "Final Fantasy Battle theme 5-12" and you'll find it. As with the others I'd need you to be more specific.

Unfortunately that song dosnt seem to be in my library anymore....for some reason...although I can tell you that the artist is E.S. Posthumus...most of the music is if its not pulled from a final fantasy game.

@yurface65 Unfortunately I didn't do it. I had a friend with an advanced editing program do it for me. From what I gathered, He had to manually put the box over top the video and lay the numbers and words over it.

Which angles are you refering to? Everything is done in game, the only modification was the use of a game shark to remove the HUD...so every angle you see can be reached normaly in game.

If you tell me exactly which shots youre talking about, i'd be happy to tell you what I did.

1. You need to buy an action replay memory card, and go to their website to download the Halo 2 HUDless gametype. then download it to your memory card and from there to your xbox.

2. with that in mind, just remember that everything is re-created in game through first person perspective. Find a ledge or a box to get a high angle. frame the shot to get all actors in frame for battle angle....without a full video tutorial, all I can say is just experiment.

If youre desperate enough, you can look for anyone else who plays Halo 2 who also has the HUDless gametype if you cant find an AR memory card on amazon...though I think most halo machinimators have moved on to Halo 3 by now.

Yes I do, and as I said, I play Halo 3 now...i do still have Halo 2, but if you need me to load up a HUDless gametype, i'd have to dig out my old xbox cause that file is on there... hook it up, recover my gamertag, and then get back to you...it would be way too much trouble.

I see...I suggest you try and get a 360 for christmas, since Microsoft is going to discontinue Halo 2's online play. the fact that so many people still play Halo 2 is the reason why alot of potential in the xboxlive servise isnt realized...like a bigger freinds list.

Yes, everything was filmed over xboxlive. During the credits, the gamertags of those who helped are listed.

Keep in mind though that this is 2 years old, and many of the gamertags are either no longer in use, or have been changed.

Each of these parts initialy came out at diffrent times, each one taking several days to create, since in the beginning you couldnt watch them all at once, I had the credits put in so you knew who made it and what they used to create it...of cource regardless nobody reads the credits anyway. I put the software I used in the credits and people still ask what I used to make the video.

The basic thing you need to do is understand what makes a good Final Fantasy game, and use those trademarks to be replicated in the Halo game engine. As for the battle screen text and boxes, I didnt do it myself, I had a co-editor who has much better software than me to include those special effects. The program was Sony Vegas 7, but it costs a few grand and its not exactly user freindly.

1: You do know there is a way to turn off annotations right?

2: The annotations are merely directors commentary, if you dont like them, dont watch them

3: Not hax, I dont mod, I couldnt even if I wanted to, the only thing I used as an Action Replay download to get rid of the HUD

4: The lag has nothing to do with my capture card, I merely lost quality during re-rendering and editing.

5: Caps do not get your point across, so use them sparingly

Simply put, Way To Much...a quick look on the Sony Vegas site shows that the more recent versions of Sony Vegas are upwards of 500$ or more...thats why I had my freind ChurchMilk help in the editing.
