  • how often do you have to check the water ?

  • @iwimp1994 Yeah realize that now. I should have kept my mouth shut!! hahahaha

  • notreallyfamous; i have one that is 2.5" in a 29 gallon tank , he or she is in good condition since 5 months ago that I got it, my nitrates are 100 but triying to reduce them, very hardy fish

  • @alexandercaicedo 100???? That is really HIGH! o.o

  • @Elton4ever21 tha was a year ago, now I am able to mantain 15 pmm of nitrates with the sump, I had a canister filter before and was at 100pmm

  • could yellow tang go in 29 gallon?

  • Yes a smaller one. Just please check out my videos and you'll see i have one. He's doing fine. Been in there about 6months.

  • @notreallyfamous Possible if he was by himself he could

  • i have a very strong light ( 96 watts) and im having a problem with algae.....its growing on everything, rocks, glass ect. i cant put any corals in my 10 gallon tank because the algae will kill it. i am looking for Coraline algae but not this green algae. id like to hear from your guys on how to get rid of it . i've heard you need to do water changes ...ive done 1 each week 2gallons outa 10g ....it is STILL growing. please give me recommendations of filtration /methods of getting rid of it!

  • I had the same problem with this tank you see in the video. I addded 2 fans to my tank. I onlonger use this youtube accout that you posted your comment on. seach for aftershock200 and you will see this tank updated with the fans I use to keep the algee down.

  • wat kind of light do u have? power compact and compact flourecents are the worst lights, it doesn matter about the watts, a 70 watt metal halide is better than a 150w pc. you cant put any sps under pc's or cf's. thats proly the problem. pc's need to be replaced evry 6-8 months. algea dies down b/c of strong light, clean up crews eat alge ie: crabs, shrimps, starfish, urchins, snails.... make sure they are reef safe tho

  • add more salt and put your fish into a diff tank till you get the ph back up or down from the salt killing the algee

  • should i get some three striped damsel fish cause there cheap? I heard there very agressive.? What fish should I get I'm a beginner and want a cheap friendly fish please write back

  • Although, there cheap their pretty aggressive. A firefish or royal gramma wold be better.

  • reccomend having at least a 30 gallon tank for clownfish, alot mor benefit for a little more effort, live rock is necessary and benificial for the water quality within the tank, it takes control of the waste the the fish produce(via denitrifyingbacteria and worms etc etc) and looks good aswell, corals arent necessary but the look good but you can only have any sort of coral if your water quality is good, that going for any fish or animal in the tank aswell, liverock willl make your water good

  • for clown fish i advise having at least a 30 gallon tank, some people say that they can survive in 10 gallon but i personally think that that is cruel and does not give the clown fish to act as it normally would in the wild, as for a filter, you could go for a cmmercial brand of filter but i reccomend having a sump with crushed coral/ bioballs and trickle filter and a heap of liverock if possible, i reccomend this over commercial brand filters but thats my opinion,

  • Really really nice tank!

  • dont mention it

  • sorry flame angelfish

  • fire angelfish

  • You have beautiful fish

  • how many gallons is this

  • sweet tank. cheers.
