I've never heard this before. It's got such atmosphere. Sleepy, rainy day. I love this period Wilco. Summerteeth and Yankee have to be two of the greatest albums, this would have been a perfect end to Summerteeth.

Obviously no one can cover Daniel Johnston but Wilco were brilliant at making songs their own.

Jay Bennett obviously had massive input, they were never the same after they fired him. Just my opinion, and he is really annoying in the DVD but he's dead now. That's still unbelievable.

Actually Beck's version is better the original is more raw, but Beck puts his own into it and if puts this one to shame.

this version is good, but i really dont think it tops the pure artistic integrity of the original, i mean the original is just so raw and heartfelt, like seriously this is good, but the original, is just pure heart and soul...this sounds like a cover, same with the beck version...daniel johnston just has this beautiful sincerity in his voice
