Absolutely amazing. That was probably THE worst live performance I've ever seen from a major rock band... AND not to mention you have to see DLR's ass jiggling around, but for some reason, I can't help but think that this amazingly awesome. You HAVE to be on a whole 'nother level of awesome to look THAT gay, and mess up THAT much and still have everyone LOVE it.

Nothing like thousands being at a concert, and maybe half of them guys, yelling and cheering for a guy wiggling his ass in assless chaps.(eyes rolling) VH...my fave band of all time, but when I see old vids of Dave dressed like a fag it's annoying...great albums but rarely do I find a vid where VH were putting 100% musicianship and professionalism into a live concert during those Dave years. Now I know why Ed once said in an interview they couldn't and did not want to do a live album with dave.

Largo, Maryland is where the Capitol Centre was located, just outside of Washington DC. I saw these guys just a few days earlier in New Haven in Oct. 1982. It was without a doubt the greatest show I have ever seen! Van Halen, for a few years in the early 1980s, was the greatest rock & roll band in the world!

You know where he got the assless chaps fashion idea; check out the 2nd Mad Max movie, the gay guy in that film has the EXACT same oufit. Even with the tail at the back. I don't know how the rest of the band could stand looking at that for the entire show. Most of their audience was young guys as well, go figure.

Van Halen was what we listened to in the day and I am glad they were! and fuck you to the ones who apparently think they can sit on the couch and judge!!!
