i put 2 12 sony explodes in my boys car off a sony explode 1000 watt in a ported box and get 136.2 db and the subs are on his third car we spent a total of like 300 bucks on the bass set up. my friends r like whow the fuck did u get them that loud its about knowing what does what and i think the most important part of any system is the head unit if u have a shity one thats what u will get so ask around what ppl use and go from there

Their's some custom companies out their that can make insane amps and the price's are gonna Insane as well. You best bet IME is a 200amp max Bosch Amp from Jc Whitney IME. That's what I'm gonna put in my 94 Pathfinder with my existing(older american made stock) Optima Yellow top. WIth 0/1 Gauge wires it should be an awesome charging system.

FYI Mean Green makes some bad ass HO Alternators(Made in the USA) but they're $350.00+. Expect to pay $160-$200.00 for a HO Bosch.

great vid like always.Lanzar was cream of the crop back in my day.Steven Mants made the best amplifiers bar none in the 12 volt world.Opti amps rocked ! 100 watts could turn into 1,000 real quick.we called 'em cheater amps.other great brands that have history are hollywood sound labs,autotek ,hi fonics and "the crunch"-now just crunch.all zed audio built and still sound superior to many amps built today.
