in fairness i wrote that 6 months ago. i was hyde park on 30th june and ive heard radioactive, immortals southbound and mary. they're alot better than obtn and i agree they sound more bott than early albums. radioactive reminds me of a more finished 'soft'.

i think what you're all failing to realize is the last 2 albums by them are the ones getting closer and closer to who they really are, the first 2 albums while they wrote the words were really attempts at sounding like the rolling stones and southern bands, give them time they are growing
one of the greatest of all time, saw them in Poland in 2009 and they were amazing at that festival, the whole set i stood with shivers. amazing music!

They only have about 4 decent tracks. They've got a long way to go. Three Chord changing singles, aren't going to give you the longevity to last in the music business.
what about ACDC? Even angus admits they are a 3 chord band. KOL first 3 albums were amazing, and they got very little credit for it. last album was their worst, and it made them massive.
They're rubbish live, they've got no energy or stage presence, they play all their songs exactly like they are on the record, and aren't creative musically at all. Boring.

I think the Glastonbury performances were broadcast on BBC in the UK and possibly MTV in the U.S. or Europe. Might be able to find a torrent of it if you search around.
