  • @sarahsarah0923 lol you're dumb

  • i have both and i love both :)

  • awesome, I did see your right eye a bit faded but other than that they look the same! I still like Urban Decay a lil better though, like you said: easier to blend in :)

  • I would choose the Urban Decay, only because I already have it. No really I think primer is in important, who is applying it is key.

  • The fading looked about the same but the primer potion eye seemed to be a little more shimmery which i liked.

  • YA i got it right

  • Plz sub me and check out my channel jmac7333

  • Can you get two faced shadow insurance in drug stores??

  • @easyjackcody no only at places like sephora.com

  • In Canada the two faced shadow insurance is 10 dollars cheaper. So thats my reason for prefering it!

  • I think Too Faced worked just a bit...or more...better;)

  • wow you have SUCH a heavy american accent! which state are you from? :)

  • @madiiwarsaw no she doesnt. unless you're from Texas or Tenessee , you will know she does not. so please shut up.

  • @sarahsarah0923 wow you are rude! i was asking because it sounds really nice to me! hence the smiley at the end of my question?? geeeeez sorry for liking her accent and asking where she's from!! and i am from Scotland actually that's why I was askin.

  • @madiiwarsaw oh ok. im sorry for the misunderstanding. i thought you were another hater , and you were hating on her. But you were not. i am so sorry.

  • @madiiwarsaw that was really rude.. I don't get how she could have thought you were being a hater!

  • i love both and reviewed both too! read it at janellelora.blogspot.com...i think they are both must-haves!

  • The eyelid (or eyeshadow) primer from elf (1 to 3 dollars) is the same thing that the primer potion (19 to 30 dollars)..

  • Love your hair!(:

  • do u think that if you kept the primers on for another 4 hours that you would see a visible or some kind of difference?

  • Udpp I think faded more

  • UDPP creased and faded a bit more.

Great video! Very helpful! Thank you!

  • If you get the professional sized primer potion, it's a squeeze tube and you don't have to worry about losing product.

  • @24ntk thats a recent change the bigger size use to be the same shame as the one in this video, I think they knew they had to up their game

  • Your left eye looked more faded...and I don't think you can just decide in one day. You really have to try out both many times before you can make any sort of decision.

  • Thank you for maing the vid!

  • can i ask what make of eyeshadow you used please? just want to know. have you tried putting no primer on one eye and some on the other to see the difference?

  • Yor eyes r not that colour!

  • Excellent well done video. Thanks!

  • Too faced looked better but i could be she just dident do the the makeup the very same :)

  • Great review. Good points. But good LORD I HATE YOUR VOICE.

  • omg mine was watery too!!! but i think the creamyness is good and mine dries very fast!! :)

  • I use either the NYX white eye shadow base or the NYX eye shadow primer (the liquid stuff). I love both of those! They're really cheap but they work great. I would say the eye shadow primer is my favorite but I use the white base more often because it makes my eye shadows all bright and stuff, haha (:

  • I like both primers and also NYX eye shadow base in skin tone works well too for $6.99

  • I've been using TFSI for over a year now but recently I got a small bottle of UDPP in the Naked palette I purchased. Honestly...I think TFSI works better because while my shadow goes on well with UDPP, it leaves my eyelids oily by the end of my work day and I hate that! :( TFSI ftw!

  • you have very pretty eyes

  • @blinkae24 you mean contact lenses: )))

  • Before the experiment began, the too faced one made your eyeliner much more vibrant. At the end of the experiment, the urban decay one seemed to appear oily.... so based on these results, I think I might just purchase the too faced one :)

  • I just BARELY noticed fading on the right eye. I use the Urban Decay Primer Potion. Love it! my eye shadow stays put all day. Before I used primer, my shadow would always crease and fade by lunchtime.

  • Would Too Faced be good for oily lids?

  • too faced looks WAAYY better

  • I think they both looked nice but i think i like the...Urban Decay Primer Potion Better.

  • I've never tried Too Faced's primer, but I really do like UD's Primer Potion. I even got a recommendation that I should buy UD's instead of Too Faced :P

  • UDPP LOOKS DARKER!!!!! and better!

  • You should have mentioned whether your lids are dry/oily/etc. I have oily, hooded lids and both of them crease on me but the UDPP lasts maybe 3 hours and the Too Faced literally creases in under an hour and is a *terrible* product on me. I'm selling both of them, MAC painterly paintpot is the only one I found that works for my complexion.

  • I Will Say Both ;D .!

  • hahah i wuztotally right i knew uhad urban decay on ur right eye and da 2 faced on the left! im such a genious! well i seriously think that the Urban Decay looks better because it makes eye shadows look more pigmented the 2faced to me it looked very subtle and soft so i would deff NOT B WEARING THE 2FACED INSURANCE.

  • Thx!!

  • I thought the urban decay eye looked better i usually use urban decay i never tried the too faced shadow i thought of getting it and trying it out but now after seeing this i think i will stick with my urban decay

  • I thought the urban decay eye looked better i usually use urban decay i never tried the too faced shadow i thought of getting it and trying it out but now after seeing this i think i will stick with my urban decay

  • I use the UDPP. I have not ever used the Too Faced or any other primer potion so I can't say anything else about another product. But I love the UDPP, it works really well for me. Once I am out, I think I will try out the Too Faced Shadow Insurance and give it a shot.

  • Too Faced Shadow Insurance is better

  • I'm using UDPP right now and love it, I've used Kat Von D's before as well and that was awesome and I would recommend that too.

  • Neither for me, I had an allergic reaction to both, and they both creased. I use the Elf mineral one.

  • urban decay smells bad

  • urban decay looked so much more vibrant!!!

  • I have to say there was some fading on your right eye

  • @MusicGal672 agreed

  • @mcartneydied

she may have a dildo but your mom doesnt need one, she has a bigger dick than you. So go suck it good.

  • I swear by the Shadow Insurance! I've mine for about a year and a half and it's still not out (I use it every other day or so).

  • I like shadow ins. bc of the packaging.

  • Omg she said to shake it till it squirts . Does her husband know she has a dildo . Ps u Hav a fugly vein on it forehead

  • @mcarnteydied what the hell is your problem?

  • @LiveLaughLoveLucy98 my prob is that ur ass isnt in the kitchen

  • I find that urban decay has a less greasy feel to it than too faced but I hate the bottle, it wastes product

  • @SerpentimeMermaid you can always microwave the bottle and cut it in half to get the rest of the product out. i did that and it is ridiculous how much product is left in there even when you think it is done!

  • ...A couple hours means 2 , not 4. Then you should say "A few hours."

  • @beautyfiendchik77 does it matter?

  • 2 faced forever. I haven't needed to shake it until now and the only thing that makes me not to choose UDPP is the curves of the bottle...

  • @CHURRIPICHUSKY they changed the bottle to a tube like too faced :)

  • I liked to Urban Decay, because the two faced side looked like your eyeliner smudged up a little.

  • Lol all the guru's are married or soon to be married

  • I thought the Too Faced looked like it faded a tiny bit by the end of the day, but when I flip back to the start of the video I think that might be because that eye was slightly lighter to begin with. Otherwise they both look like they held up about the same to me. I just bought a tube of Too Faced, and I had that weird separation going on even after I shook it for a while. It's kind of off putting. I might try Urban Decay next time.

  • i use UD and like it..i really like NYX milk tho..i was ranting about UD but came across the milk and think its even better for some looks

  • thank you so much for this video! :)

  • I have the too faced eye-primer and I didn't shake it or anything but it didn't squirt out anything other than solid product... also I have kind of oily skin and I love that it makes my eyeshadow lasts (without creasing) the entire time I'm at school and don't have time for touch-ups!

  • 2 faced all the way

  • i purfure the too face primer over urben decay. it works wayyy better for me, and i have very oily eye lids, unfortunatly. :/

  • UDPP changed their packaging a while ago lolz.

  • Too faced looked better...I'm a tfsi fan..but I like ud shadow's better :).

  • i haven't yet tried the urban decay one but i use the too faced one and it works quite well for me.

i just agree about the oiliness when you don't shake it that kind of bugs me if i'm in a hurry but other than that i have no complaints(:i will probably be trying out the udpp soon though so to know for myself.

  • weird... for me, urban decay primer potion starts to crease on me after about 7 hours.. and too faced shadow insurance lasts a craazy amount of time! :D for me, it seems like most people with oily skin (like me) prefer too faced, but most people with dry/normal skin prefer udpp. it's just a general observation i made :)

  • This is good to know! I see so many gurus using one or the other, and saying how good they are... now I know I can just try them out and see which one I prefer the feel of! Yay! :)

  • Congratulations, Whitney! on winning MakeupGeek's contest. I found out about you through the contest and I subscribed to you. Please see my video response on how I get my UDPP out. I am on my 3rd bottle. I love this better that TFSI.

  • @HookaShewz do you know how the new packaging is going to look like?

  • Thanks for the review! I guessed right. lol! I guessed it the first time I you showed your eyes up close. I haven't tried either of these primers, but I'm almost due for a new one. I'm currently using Mary Kay's eye primer. It works pretty good, but I'm definitely venturing into Sephora for my next one. :)

    <3

    Hayley

  • the too face shadow insurence works better for me thank u....

  • I did not make a difference which is which. I've never used these two

    they are pretty expensive :D

  • can't afford either one but i love the hard candy eyeshadow primer my eyeshadow stayed on through my sweating outside and the elf works great too

  • Ohhh Yeah!! I was right which eye you had the udpp on ;D

Btw i have neither lol Cant afford it..Just being honest :)

  • I have UDPP in sin and the classic....but neither seem to work for me. My eyelids are super super oily. Even just 5 hours or so and my eye makeup is fading. Does anyone have any tips?

  • Great video doll.I prefer UD!

  • come join my small sigma giveaway plz

  • i think they worked the same i see a lot of ppl say the UDPP is better but ur right there the same both eyes looked great there both great products i own both and it dont see a difference when i use one or the other thanx for the review

  • i personally think UDPP is better because two face`d shad0w insurance is t00 0ily f0r my eyelids, my eyeshad0w creases after 8 h0urs!!

  • I guessed right! :)

    UDPP looks better, personally.

    x

  • UDPP looks better! x

  • I personally like the palladio herbal eyeshadow primer alot better than the UDPP... I've heard it's alot like the too faced shadow insurance. UDPP doesn't work for me for some reason.....

  • great demo, i think i like the UDPP better though..

  • too faced looks better in my opnion! :)

    xoxoo

  • I think the Urban decay one looks better. But did you know that they don't sell eyeshadow primer in Australia. Like we don't ave Urban Decay or Two Faced but we also don't have any brands which sell a proper eyeprimer. Which means I just make my own which works really well and lasts all day without me having to spend money :)

  • I like the UDPP in the Pro tube. I don't really like having to cut open a product to get full use out of it. I just wish they made the packaging part of the line all the time. When I run out, I'll probably switch to TFSI!

  • I personally am not crazy about Too Faced or the regular UDPP, but the UDPP in Eden I find is the best in my case. I get really oily creases usually on my lids, and the UDPP in the color Eden just seems to work much better and is much more sticky when first applied, which I love because it really makes my eyeshadow colors pop and stay with no creasing.

  • Great idea for a video Whitney!

  • I guessed right!

  • The Too Faced side did look better for some reason? That's the one I use so I'm happy about that. Thanks for doing such a dedicated review, I mean 12 hours! Lol...

  • I thought the right eye shadow looked a tiny bit faded around outer upper edge, but the difference was very insignificant. I haven't tried Too Faced, but I have Urban Decay and Mary Kay primer. I prefer UD primer because of the silky formula and easy application. The MK goes on sticky at fist, but dries smooth. The UD and Mary Kay eye primer perform equally well. It is just a matter of personal preference. It seems like the Too Faced seems similar to Mary Kay one.

  • For some reason my shadow insurance didnt work as well for me as it did for you it made my eyeshadows not as vibrant and fade by the end of the day i prefer paint pots and primer potion great vid by the way

  • Good video idea!! Thanks for your input:)

  • omg your puppy is SOOO cute!

  • the too faced one works, but it makes my eyes feel really awkward, greasy, and ick. but atleast it helps my eye makeup last all day (:

  • Fun idea.

  • @prettytwenty the price went up cause its "professional size"

  • GREAT IDEA! i honestly thought the too faced primer looked like it faded some and yah and the colors we just more vibrant on the udpp

  • Ooohh! This is exactly the video I wanted to see! My mind is made up.. urban decay primer potion for sure!! Thanks SOO SOOO much! You are amazing..

  • These types of videos are SO helpful. :)

  • Great video! Personally i prefer UDPP!

  • UDPP doesn't work for me for some reason.. I know everyone raves and raves about it, but I think ELF eyeshadow primer ($1!!) works way better...

  • @D0wnWithTheSickn3ss same here! i use elf too

  • @D0wnWithTheSickn3ss im excatly the same, I love the ELF primer!!

  • @D0wnWithTheSickn3ss It doesn't work for me either. My eyeshadow just slides right off! I use one from Laura Mercier in Wheat

  • the first time that I ever went to Sephora in my city, i purchased the UDPP and one of the employees there gave me a sample of TFSI so that I could compare the two for myself. To be completely honest, I did not see a huge difference in texture or the way that the products looked. I did three swatches on my hand (one with shadow and UDPP, one with shadow and FTSI and one last one with just shadow). I did find that the UDPP one was slightly brighter in colour/pigmentation in comparison. :)

  • I guessed right. I have the Too Faced one and my eye shadow cakes when I use it.

  • Great video!! I've actually been contemplating which to buy.....too faced retails for $34.95 and I don't even think there is a counter for UD! Thanks heaps! <3

  • Great review and comparison of the two primers Whitney :)

  • UD primer potion comes in squeezy tubes now everyone!!! :)

  • i've been lookng fora video exactly like ths for FOREVER! haha, thanks sooo much!

  • UDPP is my holy grail product, I love it!

  • yes i knew the ubpp was on your left eye! i thought that one looked better throughout the whole video :D

  • great review .. i Stick to the too faced is better for me

  • the too faced one looked better!

  • I'm currently using too faced and a mac paint pot on top or sometimes a nyx jumbo pencil to further intensify color and add duration to the color, but i have UDPP too. I find they're very similar as well. :) Great vid!

  • I Didn't see a difference, I don't have either but am planning on buying udpp soon .

  • When you run low on urban decay one you can microwave it with the stopper out and put it in another jar!(: Theres vids on youtube type how to depot urban decay primer potion!

  • I prefer the UDPP but because of the packaging, I stick to buying Too Faced.

  • you can just take out the stopper in the udpp.

  • can you do a tutorial on the look you're wearing?!?! i love itt!

  • I will stick to Too faced Shadow insurance, as the tube is more practical. Thank you for doing this review.

  • i think ur left eye with the udpp is better cause ur eyeliner is still on and ur eyeshadow isnt fading

  • I thought the Two Face looked better in the end? Hmm . Don't you agree?

  • not a big diff..but it looks like the two faced lasted longer

  • ALOHA!!!! I was just wondering which eye primer would be better???? Then up comes your video.... very cool!!! you where reading my mind!!!! ; 0 I hate that first squirt of that juice stuff...yuyckkkkie. that's why i was wondering about Urban decay??? thank you for your review,,, xoxoxo Kahala

  • Yay! I am so glad you made this video I definitly wanted to see a comparison of the two =) I love UDPP and I guessed right! haha

  • LOL at your random dog :) awww good vid.

  • clever way to make the vid :)

  • i prefer the urban decay primer potion! i use it every day and it never fails me.

  • if you depot your udpp you get sooo much more product. i thought i was almost done my primer potion until i cut it open and got most of it out. i'm so glad they brought out new packaging!

  • think the eye with the Too faced Shadow insurance looked best at the end!

  • lovee this video!! I actuallly think that Urban Decay seemed like it was beggining to crease just a bit, but 12 hours!? thats amazing for any primer nontheless! i have urban decay primer potion and i find it works that way as well (: great video as alwayyss loveey! keep up your great work!! xo

  • I personally like too faced better it seems like you get more product for your money.

  • Too Faced Eyeshadow Insurance Is My Favorite.

I HATE The Bottle Of The Primer Potion.

    So Dang Irritating! lol

  • I think the eye with the Too faced Shadow insurance looked best at the end!

  • I have the too faced one and it doesn't come out watery like you said maybe it's time to replace it.

  • I've used TFSI for a while now, and I like it. I would like to try UDPP, also, but the packaging has always prevented me from buying it. Now that they have the tubes out, I might give it a try. I've seen other people commenting about how the UDPP eye looked brighter than the TFSI, and I was wondering...did you notice any differences in the colors and blending of your eye shadow between the two? Thanks!

  • @Marlevolent You can buy a Pro-size for 30 dollars, and it's in a squeeze-tube like the TFSI is :) You don't have to be a pro to get it tho, and there's also A LOT of product in there :)

  • URBAN DECAY PRIMER POTION =DD

  • great vid! i personally like the urban decay primer potion a little more because when i go out dancing i dont want my shadows running because of the heat, and the primer potion really holds my shadows in place. the too faced shadow insurance makes my eye makeup run by the end of the night

  • I like both of these primers ! But I prefer UDPP. The only thing like i hate is the packaging, and the fact that it dry's out soooo fast.

  • I think a great thing about the Urban Decay potion is that it's FINALLY in a tube instead of those terrible bottles, they announced it just the other day.. I can't tell you how many people I've seen cut open a tube just so they can get to the rest of the product inside.

  • Forgot to say this, the UD one seemed a bit brighter to me in the video, but maybe it's just me. :D

  • I've never tried TFSI, but I love UDPP (:

  • I noticed a difference, from the beginning of the video, i thought the urban decay was on ur left eye because the comments were more vibrant :)

  • Thank you for this!! I've only used the Urban Decay Primer potion in the past and I would always wonder which of the two is more convenient. Though I never tried Too Faced Shadow Insurance, I really think it would have more product than the Primer Potion due to its packaging.

  • i was waiting for this forever !!!! omg thank you so much !!

  • I want to try those 2
