@KANIODF, Faltó en mi comentario decir un par de cosas a @bodiloto, dudo mucho que los grandes tenores de otras épocas entendieran en marketing y formas actuales. Ellos tenian 'otros' formas de marketing. Para los 'tres tenores' estas actuaciones sirvieron en gran medida para financiar munchas obras humanitarias, popularizar la opera y....divertirse ellos mismos!

I love how Luciano sings his part in 1:02 and 2:21 (my little town blues). Carefree and relaxed first, with awesome smile. Majestically, but still slightly in 2:21. Pavarotti realy enjoys it, but Jose and Domingo looks like they don't.

@spike3585 Could be because Pava was taught how to sing this song by the one and only Liza Minnelli! She "owns" this as it is one of her trademark songs. She spent weeks "teaching" Pava how to sing it for a duet with her at his 1996 Modena concert. If you view the vid of he and her, you will see a very happy, exuberant, Pava, where like here, he really is having lots of fun and bouncing around like he wishes he could dance!---very delightful!

Oh my goodness to have this on here. I was at this concert. This was in the encore. To be 21 seeing Pavarotti live was one thing but to see the 3 Tenors was completely out of this world. Thanks for this memory. I miss Pavarotti. And now I miss home.
