Starz the Pilot. In other words. This used to be part of the coast line. A beach on the Pacific. To Blargaldalien it is a 'pile of rocks'. To me it is history. Who knows who or what walked on that beach. Oh wait. Blargaldalien has been here about that long...:").. I went there when I lived in California. Frio, First Science Officer.
Starzship the Pilot. Vasquez Rocks are my kinda of place.I enjoy hiking and rock climbing. These Sandstone rocks are part of the San Andreas faults. The rocks were raised about 25 million years ago during the middle-Cenozoic.Awesome place. The sandstone of Vasquez was produced by sedimentation of the sand setting out from suspension(from water movement). The sand then accumulated. Fresh deposits compacted the sand under pressure.Sun baked the minerals: silca, calcium cabornate 'cementing' the sand
beautiful!

Vaquez Rocks is not a "National" Park. Vasquez Rocks is a County Park administered by the county of Los Angeles.
Read the sign at the beginning of your own video. It says "Vasquez Rocks County Park."
