It would have been fine of course, if he'd not gone gaga over Ilene's appearance and kept perspective. It'd gone a long way to convince Barbara she was adorable in whatever she wore---cuz he thought she was. But thank goodness for Jerry's equalizing later in this episode!

Oh honesty, Barbara is really annoying in this episode. Just because they went 'self sufficient' doesn't mean she has to dress like a frump. I mean really, the outfit she's wearing when the passerby mistakes her for a boy...? She looked like a homeless person! Poor Tom for having to put up with her emotional outbursts..
