There's no amount of make-up or re-takes that can cover non-sobriety.

She was unfairly maligned by her studio and fired for being doped up, drunk, and not being able to say her lines. How can somone who looks like this in these pics be a doper? I do not believe any of those stories.

well, and the studios back then were awful. look at the way they treated poor judy garland. they got her hooked on powerfuluppers--speed, really-- so she could work the hours they demanded of her. then blamed her for being a drug addict. hollywood loves to create disasters and then shift the blanme. it's pretty disgusting.

I am sure Marilyn would have had a big success with Something's go to give.The script was very good , much better than "Let's make love"(1960) and Marilyn look was completely different in 1962, she was thinner, new hair-do and make-up.1962 had started a new and different time in her life and career, she was extrainteresting
