@Phantomfan97 It makes sense. *shrug* At the beginning, they pretty much can't stand each other, but they grow very close at the barricades. Grantaire even sacrifices himself to die /with/ Enjorlas at the hands of the firing squad rather than let Enjorlas die on his own in one movie version. The pairing is pretty canon.

Admittedly, I was a Hugo junkie long before I saw the musical, so I already had this image of him as a blond, blue-eyed Apollo fixed in my mind before Ramin "Sexypants" Karimloo could interfere with that. Then again, Enjolras is my fictional twin, so I like the idea of him also LOOKING like me with the blond and the blue-eyed and the tall and stuff... so that's just me, I guess.
I'm glad Enjolras is single. I like to pretend that I'm a character AND I'm his girlfriend :P Very depressing when he dies though... I'm such a fangirl.
