Couldn't you think of a dumber comment? There is a second documentry on this cave with the same scientists and also some new team members. The young people are affected by the heat just like the old ones.

Just gypsum, Einstein, as a soil scientist I dug up millions of gypsum crystals in Montana, litttle bitty ones, of course. But it's still only gypsum. Now if those crystals were made of rare gemstone, then there'd be some serious interest and a lot of money.
@CHadetz thats almost 170 degrees Fahrenheit and 100% humidity. its like being trapped in a sauna room with the heat all the way up. and the only way out is through another room that's very warm as well. if they were to pour cold water on themselves to cool of they'd probably go into shock.
@lorddresefer yeah.. i am from finland, and we go into sauna with 80-90 degrees celsius (thats about 190 fahrenheit) and pour water on hot stones to get steam (humidity) into the room and we actually enjoy it :D

@rockymex01 I wasnt being ignorant. I think this program was really good. I watched it all, Twice.. But honestly there is just to much dramatization on tv today. I dont want a movie/reality show when i watch this. i just want to know about the crystals. Dont caps.
