question how did u draw on smooth surfaces like the cylinder window how did u do that it wont let me do it on mine

Cylinders are easy to make in SketchUp: Start out by using the circle tool to draw a filled circle on the ground, then use the Push/Pull tool to pull the surface of the circle up to whatever height you wnat your cylinder.

If you turn on hidden geometry under the view menu, you will see the softened lines holding the faces together. Since a cylinder is several faces with joining edges softened, by turning on these edges you will turn the cylinder back into flat faces. You can more easily draw on these.

clcik on the scale tool, then click on the object u want to resize

you have to right click it and then it turns blue. then go to the tool bar and choose the scale option. you then can scale however you want!

try working on the pool, u will fall in if u walk by, make the silo smaller, ad a door to the roof, and ty to make it go other wys than just around.. greets

A few questions:

What's in the silo?

The front door looks residential but the rest has a commercial feel, or something. No back doors, and the window lines are reminiscent of institutional architecture... i.e. it almost feels like a fortress or compound... EEH yellow doors look so bad, like an easter nightmare.

Final Verdict: Not bad, but not good. My guess would be that the owner lives outside of Miami and conducts his business in kilos...

A little tip, its alittle waste of time to show your house in all those different face styles. What is that cylinder on the house? and the pool is alittle to close to the house, not easy to get out that door behind there.

ive built several things on this program but my latest 1 is completely built from scratch meaning i didnt get nething off the 3d warehouse.its a fun program and as much fun as it is to build everything, i do like getting stuff from the warehuse alot. and nice work on your building.
