@57silver That is soo true. I thought Rosie (my German Shepherd) was the most lovable dog until i rescued Ziggi.. But i think it has alot to do with the fact that she is a rescue dog. They seem to be more lovable because they fear being left alone or mistreated again.

@nomadatdzoo7 i would have to disagree.. My boxer/pit mix was the same way as a puppy, but now she is the most loving dog i have. Almost as well behaved as my german shephard. It just depends on how you work with them in the beginning. (:

I was just browsing youtube watching different boxer videos for fun as I have a four month old boxer myself. I think this is regular boxer puppy behaviour. I was reading the comment under your video about never putting your dog in a crate like its a bad thing? It is not intending to be used as punishment for a dog it becomes their home where they feel safe and relaxed! My dog willingly goes in all the time and I would strongly encourage any pet owner to use one
this boxer is just being a boxer. Does the owner expect the boxer to be able to tell the difference between "his" pillow and the couch pillow. He says no to him, but does nothing to stop the it. Someone needs to put the owner in the kennel, and/or get his to dog ownership school.
wow have u ever taken him to the puppy trainings? i had 2 boxers of my own if u dnt want them to chew on the couch dnt put him on it it's that simple and if u keep responding to his barks then he's going to keep doing it cuz he knows that u are responding to him the best way for him to be calmer is to put him in the cage for a minute or so soon he can understand that U ARE THE BOSS not him but it will take some time.. good luck

a lot of people think that boxers are mean dogs in general. all boxers growl and bark normally while playing and when happy. They are quite vocal when playing, especially boxing with them. Boxers are also very stubborn and heard headed. You need a very dedicated owner or it goes into social depression.
@jfm75231 you need to correct him when he's being mean ex: stand between them and calmly tell him NO, and separate them when your not around, it'll take a week or two but he'll understand that being mean to another family member isn't allowed in your home, and most important "that you set the rules and they follow, not the other way around"
Please be consistent, you let it slip one time and your dog will be confused.
@jfm75231 or dont show too much favortism toward one or too much affection before they bond cause like kids dogs they get jealous when one sibling receives what they think is more love
@msca1627 first of all your asking for help from the wrong person. he says why are you being bad, but if you notice he's petting him, thats praising him saying its ok for you to do what your doing, you have to have a firm tone say it like you mean it. hope that helps.
@msca1627 Tell them to stop you probebly have a jelues boxer like me i have to boxers and i pet one the other runs up so dont pay atention to the dog being mean only if he/she really needs it give little attention to the boxer and if the other dog gets jelues do the same then they will be nice if the boxer a the weirner dog growl and bark at eachother thats fighting but if they are ggoing like grrrrr GRR they are playing with eachother hope this helps!
