  • 16 people think the song Turbo Lover is better.

  • @bassmanjoe

    haha good one,

but seriously what wrong with turbo lover?

its not as cool as this but still not bad right

  • @MrBillyidolfan I hate Turbo Lover, my least favorite album from them. The hair spray days of Judas Priest. I hate Parental Guidance also,I think the 70's Priest is the best in my opinion.

  • @bassmanjoe

oh okay, yeah i heard most fans dont like the turbo album

i myself find it to be an awesome album as i listen to pop and shit,

but rocka rolla is better than turbo though i think

  • @MrBillyidolfan Everyone knows Sad Wings Of Destiny is the best album, with Stained Class as a close second.

  • 70s fucking priest man, thought their 70s shit was the best they have ever done

  • @DonBaldy I agree 70's Priest is the best!

  • Did you know that Judas Priest's first studio album Rocka Rolla was recorded "live", in the studio.

  • @theralamadam I was just going to post that xD Facebook ftw!!

  • @pyrlalah

    yeah :D xD

  • Yea ten horse this is like there first album. kinda pre metal era. But like Black sabbath who was once a blues band named Earth Judas priest made the change over to metal too. Legen.... wait for it DARY.

  • Great song, but it's a little surreal to know this is the same band that did "Painkiller." From bluesy hard rock to galactic sweep-picking speed metal!

  • @TenTonHorse Well they first started in the '69s and this came out in '74 and was a different time of Rock and Heavy Metal had Blues roots in it but then they revolutionized Heavy Metal by getting rid of the blues and added more metal to it. Judas Priest is the Metal Gods for a reason XD.

  • They should play this song live.

  • lets drink a rocka rolla

  • Rockin' song!

  • 70's Judas Priest Kicks Ass!

  • Psychedelic Priest, wow......

  • Can somebody tell me which singer this is?

    It´s Alan Atkins, right?

The guy from Before the dawn and run of the mill?!

I just started listening to Priest and the only songs in which i hear which singer it is are the ones with Rob halford..

    Thx for help ;)

Ps: Can you live with not helping a guy who started to listen to judas Priest and maybe make him not listen to ist anymore? ;) i coulndn´t

  • @DasRump

    Its Halford.....

Anyways, still suprised that theres a Psychedelic Priest :O

  • @TheKassicRock

Hey your right :O now that you say it.. Its Halford.

I just new Rocka Rolla was their first album and Atkins the first singer?!

Why´s Halford on the first album?

And who sang Before the dawn and run of the mill?

    Sry i don´t get the joke I´m German :D

  • @DasRump

(You are german, I am from germany, so I'll explain it to you in german:))

Alan Atkins hat nicht mehr auf "Rocka Rolla" gesungen, er hatte die Band bereits 1 Jahr zuvor verlassen, also 1973.

Rob Halford hat auch "Before The Dawn" und "Run Of The Mill" gesungen.

    Vocals: B(!)ob Halford . Warum?

  • @DasRump Why not m8?Check their site or wiki from time to time,no harm to that. And its not a joke.He says that earlier albums by priest had that psyche tone, rather than the pure metal of the latest.

  • @GIORGOSGUNIT

    ok thanks

  • @DasRump No, this is still Rob Halford. Al Atkins never sang on a Priest album, but he has a couple of writing credits on the first two albums. Before The Dawn and Run of the Mill are also sung by Halford.

  • hey this might sound weird, but I like this version better than the Hero Hero version, that doesn't sound heavier to me, it just sounds like too constricted and muted. I think this version sounds more energetic and alive!

  • Im a huge death metal fan, but this is the CORE of metal! this is what many modern metal bands have forgotten! this is the spirit of fucking heavy metal!!

  • @TheNecroluster Okay dude don't have a stroke :P

  • @mrclownsays haha! Id rather have a stroke listening to Priest than Dead By April thats for sure!

  • @TheNecroluster Me too ^.^

  • Yeah, me niether dude. I'm old school like you. Sabbath, Zeppelin, Rush, UFO, King Crimson, AC/DC, Megadeth, Satriani,.. you get the point. I'd like to talk rock with you sometime. Later.

  • All of you argue about this and that. How about getting on the team and keeping this stuff alive?!? Come and listen. Don't make me hold the torch. Or maybe just keep crying how it's all gone. Don't do anything to bring it back. Tipton would smite you and you know it.

  • As someone who has listened to every single Judas Priest record over the past 35 years, Rocka Rolla is their best album. Trust me, it is.

  • @bluu999 In my opinion, that is only your opinion. If you think that your opinion is the only opinion that is the right opinion, you are not very wise eh? (I'm not Canadian) Of course, you never said that your opinion would be the only right opinion, but you sounded like that.

I'm truly sorry for any mental injuries I might have caused with my questions.

  • @FatalJoymonkey1337 Let's not start a war of words with each other like every other idiot on here. You be the expert on more modern rock groups such as Killswitch Engage and Slipknot and I'll be the expert on older rock band such as Judas Priest and Iron Maiden. Ok? Thanks.

P.S. Thanks for your concern in regard to my possible mental injury while reading your question and statements. You're very kind. Take care.

  • @bluu999 Actually, I do not listen to modern metal groups at all, only to bands like Black Sabbath and Judas Priest. I did not talk about my own opinion, but rather of those who think differently.

    Cheers

  • preist rules dops

  • when I type 'J' on utube I dont wanna see neither 'Justin Bieber' nor 'Judas-Lady Gaga' ... I want 'JUDAS PRIEST'

  • @iadoreyoumichaeljack random fact: lady gaga actually does like judas priest, in fact her favorite band being iron maiden.

  • It would be good if they would make a proper Rocka Rolla drink and they should sell it at every Judas Priest concert...:)) And that`s what will be the Metal Alcohol for Kids... :)))

  • @timoteijedi Someone did, but the named it mercury.

  • great song !!!!!!!!!!

  • Another song inspiered by Coca Rolla.

  • I just loooove the riff.

  • i have 1 fucking question

WHY is there a justin bieber video next to this song WHY ??????!!!!!

  • @krachun123 Every time you mention his name it's like he scores a point. So never ever mention his name again if you want him to fade out.

  • Coke copy the font XD

  • For some wierd reason this sounds like Lady Gaga on vocals

  • @evilunixuser1 Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?

  • If you listen this song backwards, you will get the name of Coca Cola's secret ingredient.

  • @bbsirup lol good one xD.

  • @randreic Thanks, inspiration came instantly!

  • @bbsirup whats the secret ingredient plz i dont got a record player plz tell me

  • @TheMetalmaniaTV Like always, secret ingredient is LOVE!

  • @bbsirup cocaine

  • This song is one of the coolest song I've ever heard, seriously. It deserves more than 3 minutes duration.

Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple and Judas Priest set the foundations to what we know now as hard rock and metal.

    Greetings from Mexico!

  • What happens if you pour superglue into a non-stick pan?

  • It's so wierd listening to their older rock'n'roll-style stuff then listening to stuff like Nostradamus, Painkiller or Jugulator...

  • i have this album

    :D muhh

  • pretty cool song

  • i think this is one of the rock-iest form of judas priest... their later stuff it ALOT tougher than this... but this is pretty good :o)

  • actually black sabbath is where metal came from. judas priest is the NWOBHM. excellent song. diamonds and rust is my favorite

  • Badass old-style 'Priest!

  • omg some parts of the song sounds nothing like judas priest, but is a damn good song.

  • That cola is for a Rocka Rolla

  • it's such a good song, but not in the Juda's style... this hears more Rock than Metal... but still exelent song.

  • digimon,digimon,digimon.

    anyone?

  • wtf this is not metal

  • @bubbletopseb999 This was the ORIGINAL METAL! You ow your life as a Headbanger to Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, and Budgie

  • @cpreyde ha the only album to have bob

  • More than likely not written by Rob.

  • Sucks they they went their separate ways ):<

  • wow so that was the origins sounds a bit hard and with a somewhat obscure tune

  • I myself have this tape and it's a classic.

  • as a young teen me and my girlfriend used to fuck like retards to this Priest tune in particuliar.

  • rob halford has got to be the most important gay dude in history

  • @JuggaloWorldOrder1 What does being gay have to do with it? Priest is my favorite of all time, but I would think Freddy Mercury is more popular because not everyone is metal and Queen transcended rock to all levels of music tastes.

Regardless... gay or not... I dont think "gay" when I listen to/go see, Judas in concert.

  • @azrock4ever im not sayin it has anything to do with halford bein gay. it was just stating that of all gay celebrities halford is my favorite.

  • @azrock4ever it doesnt matter if your gay or not all that matters is that u FUCKIN ROCK THE WORLD.

  • This song is kinda funny XD

  • @randi503

  • Pepsi or Coke?

How about Judas Fuckin' Priest! \m/

  • So where can I find this "rocka rolla" brand cola? Sounds like the cola for men.

  • @firebat42 Hmm with our luck it has its own drug "rocka" in it lol.

  • @firebat42 better than pepsi like coke but better and only found in every store in rock-land

  • @firebat42 WELL MY GOOD SIR YOU CAN FIND THIS IN EVERY PIGGLY WIGGLY AND WOOLWORTH'S IN ALL OF METAL LAND, RIGHT NEXT TO THE MAIDEN LEMON/LIMES AND THE SAXON GRAPE DRANK.

  • love glenns backing vocals

  • @randi503 well said! coke u can get anywhere...only under a different label...judas priest is like a fine cigar...far and few in between a lot of crap

  • Rocka Rolla man for a Rocka Rolla man.

  • am i the only one who thinks it's hilarious that like half of the songs Rob writes are about banging chicks and stuff, even thought he's like really gay?

  • @LieutenantIDan I don't think the macho heavy metal crowd would've liked to hear about gay sex endeavors.

  • @RockOfAges94 That actually sounds strangely amazing.

I want that on the next album.

  • @LieutenantIDan See: Glam Metal.

  • Comment removed

  • @LieutenantIDan

Rob is married ...he can't be gay... but i think that he was bissexual for some years in the mid 70s ... it was "a la mode" in those glam years...

  • @BohemianConspiracy What the fuck are you talking about?

Dude, He's Gay... and, besides, you can't just Stop being gay or bisexual.

  • @LieutenantIDan amen :-)

  • @BohemianConspiracy He said in an interview in 1999 these exact words. "I am gay"

  • @bbeboutuaa it's ok i believe you...

it's my lil' bro who is a fan too who gives me a wrong information... since a few weeks now i knew i was wrong... i read here and there ...the confirmation of what you've just said ... he is gay... why not after all...hehe

  • yeah so who cares? Doesn't make him any less or more awesome than he already is, we listen to him, he entertains us, we don't go home with him right? He was put on earth to scream our ears out and rock hard and heavy!@bbeboutuaa

  • When i hear this song it makes me regret i wasn't born in the 70's. Sounds like an awesome decade.

  • JUDAS PRIEST É FODA.... '.'

  • Coca-Cola: The King of Beverages. Judas Priest: The Gods of Metal. Put them together and Woah!

  • painkiller is a great album, but i would have to say priest's best era was from stained class to point of entry (the album before screaming for vengeance). those four albums had a distinctive old-school sound. PRIEST \m/

  • Coca Cola & Judas Priest, i'm pretty sure that is the formula to heaven

  • Poison Nothing but a good time.

lol anyways judas priest is cool

  • Viva la PEPSI

  • sprunk in grand theft auto san andreas and recent gta games as well cluckin bell, and burger shot,i think they are most referred as sprite, kfc, and some burger fast food restaurant,i think rocka rolla doesnt really have to mean coca cola!fuck coca cola im drinking epsi!!

  • More of a thrash metal guy with the speed and heaviness, but British New Wave Is good to.

  • @xXMETALLICAisGODXx

then go look at the judas priest "pain killer" album, its holy shit fast.

JP has changed ALOT, they started out like this, soft stuff, then on sad wings of destiny they took a protometal turn, then on british steel, defenders of faith and screaming for vengeance they became fucking metal, seriously, look up "judas priest - painkiller" and youl lknow what im talking about.
