You need to have a jailbroken iPod/iPhone. Generally Greenpois0n, RedSn0w, and Sn0wbreeze are the most popular for people to use. If it's an iPod, I'd recommend Greenpois0n.

You need to use a tool such as i-Funbox or Winscp and access the internal harddrive of the iPod through a computer. Then you would cut/copy it off of the iPod onto your computer and upload it from there.

rather than SSH... You can click Files.... Then email file and select the file.... Then you can get it from your email.... Then you can save it to your your PHOTO ALBUM and UPLOAD it to youtube.... Isn't that much simpler?
