With it being famous and all the money she got from the first game they probably got enough money (maybe some loans for Jasper Batt Jr since he controls everything and why he's #1 ranked assassin) to make it real

She chose Travis so that Travis could avenge his parents, and, by extension, his brother/her husband.

But the UAA is apparently a first and foremost scam for money, which explains the fees you pay, and Sylvia's mom saying "You are not her first."

I don't think we can know that. Some of them are older than she is, and they've been doing it since before her. Bad Girl's makes sense. But Doctor Peace wasn't conned cause he got what he wanted. That's just a business deal. and it's likely death metal had his mansion for awhile.

Yeah she basically conned everyone into making her lots of money by creating this fake assassin rating and entry fees.

It seems that the con did become a real event in the end though as it pretty much seems to run like the real thing.

rank 1 "Dark Star" was probably an inside man. The rest all got duped probably. The cameo guy is another guy she scammed but has a more direct aproach "The you die we all move up a rank" approach
