Wow, what an insightful and informative video on Mining in Colorado!!! Amazing how much we rely on Coal Mining for our electricity, and metals mined for items such as cell phones, medical devices and MP3 Players. I was amazed to learn that Mining is safer than most other industries, and that those mining 'scars' in Colorado are from mines abandoned in the 1800's, not from modern mines.
