Finally the basketball Gods have smiled upon on Portland and have resurrected RIP CITY! Its just gods way of rewarding Portland for not tanking games at the end of the season like some other teams, I'm not gonna mention names but we all know who they are. As a Sonic fan, I am so happy to see the top 2 picks in the deepest draft since '84 go to the northwest. It will make the I-5 Rivalry one of the best in the league, something Stern should be happy to see. This makes it much more likely we stay here.

You guys are lucky, but a serious question. Would drafting Durant not make more sense for this particular team as currently constructed. PG-Jack/Rodriguez SG-Roy SF-Durant PF-Randolph C-Aldridge As opposed to drafting Oden, which would lead them to have to trade Randolph or Aldridge because neither can play SF, or would have to come off the bench. PG-Jack/Rodriguez SG-Roy SF-? PF-Randolph-trade/Aldridge C-Oden Just saying, wondering what others think.
