  • Hemi-anything (the old big blocks, that is), makes me weak in the knees!

  • Great work again! Thanks for the vid!

  • Awesome as always, Dale Reed is da man! How did you get the valve covers to clear the drain boss on passenger side. I have my hemi set back in my 63 in stock location and can't get any aftermarket valve covers to clear that boss.

  • @scatpack440 Chrysler didn't start using the Hemi as a performance motor until 1964. Your '63 was designed to fit Max Wedge heads so you're going to have some clearance problems at the shock tower. Starting in 1964, the factory reversed the shock tower on the passenger side to make make room for the larger Hemi heads. When we're building a clone, we will reverse the shock tower ourselves. Doing incorrect fab work on a '63 can devalue your car.

  • @moparsbymosher My shock tower clears fine, it's the firewall drain boss under where you mounted the ballast resistor. Is the 65 firewall different. You can see my videos to see the Hemi clears the shock tower fine. I'm asking the best as you have done way more than I will ever conceivably do in a lifetime. Thanks, Steve.
