To get the spider to do what I wanted, I had to catch a live fly and remove one wing (in case I dropped the fly), but keep the other wing on, so its movements would attract the spider.

I HATE DIRTY FLIES, THEY PUKE AND CRAP ON YOUR FOOD AND STOMP IT IN AND THEN IT'S YOUR TURN TO EAT - EEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!

I'm not over-keen on touching the dirty little b'stards.

Spiders ROCK because they kill flies.
