The NASA Super Guppy

When I was working at Rolls-Royce Filton works in 1990 I saw "The guppy" fly in. I was told that it had been developed to bring the wings of the Concorde from France, for final assembly with the fusilage at BAE, with whom RR shared a runway.

This is the one I remember seeing!

Cant see the registration, but i assume its n941na. Thats my kid's fav plane. Its frequently parked at the NASA hanger in El Paso TX

The superguppy was made by airbus, not NASA. It carried space station pieces, but not exclusively.

@FWleader It was developed by NASA, and then Airbus bought the production rights from them.
