From what I've heard on this video, the guitar is basically the brass, woodwinds, orchestra, etc. from the actual song, but just on guitar (example: starting from 5:02, that guitar there is the strings on the recorded version) , and there is some guitar on the actual version of the song, too, you just have to listen a bit carefully.
