  • Hi again, Thanks for talking with me. I too am forever learning. I just read Ezk 40:1 In the twenty fifth year of our captivity at the BEGINNING of the YEAR, on the tenth day of the month.....

Gods beginning of years is always at spring at the first sliver of the Moon and the barley is aviv thats the beginning of years to us. Isn't that what you read?

What do you mean by civil?

  • @Hi again Keren, I’ll answer in a few parts. Well, re Ezek 40:1 is debatable. My belief is that since he was in exile (to Babylon), it could be refer to Fall as a Head of the Year. Also it was a vision of the Temple which relates to Yom Kippur. Yom Kippur is the 10th of Tishrei. The verse says “10th of the month”. It’s just my personal belief this refersf to Fall rather than Spring. I wouldn’t force anyone to agree with me or say that I can prove them wrong or visa/versa. :)

  • @kerren You are right, the Torah literally calls the Springtime the "Head/Start of Months". I don't believe it ever has exact words Head of "the Year" for Spring (only of "Head the Months"). Certainly the Springtime is when the cycle/year of the HolyDays begins. By “civil” in civil calendar I mean like mundane everyday life vs. religious life. Fall is when the number of the year changes in Israel. But Spring is when the cycle of the Months and Holy Days begins.

  • @jarofclay9 Ezek 1:1 says he is in captivity in the fourth month, when on Gods calender is that? Ezekial starts to write the the book of Ezekial in the fourth month. God does say when our years start, it's in Exodus 12-2 This month [shall be] unto you the beginning of months it [shall be] the first month of the year to you....it continues talking about taking a lamb for each person, thus refering to passover in the spring. I'm not trying to be right either. your awesome thank you for yor time.

  • @kerren I think I explain it better in this video starting around 3:57

    /watch?v=X2pkE0fJuks

For GOD's calendar, according to the Torah, the start of the year is most definitely in Spring. Absolutely, I agree. But for the civil calendar (for mundane regular life) the start of the year is Fall. You can say we who are born again :) have two dates of birth: [1] born from mother's womb as a baby (like the civil new year) & [2] born again by the HOLY SPIRIT (like the religious new year).

  • @kerren Amen, I'm forever learning too!! :)

    Praise YAH!!!!!!!!!

  • Question: Didn't the San Hadren back in time add this Holiday (Rosh HaShanah)? If not where in spripture does GOD say to observe this. Sorry for the miss spelling of Hadren.

  • @kerren Hi, I'm not familiar with the SanHedren adding Rosh HaShanah as a holiday. I don't beleive so. The Bible says to have Yom Teruah. These are the same thing. But if you prefer to avoid the phrase Rosh HaShanah there is nothing wrong with that. I personally, don't have a problem calling it R. HaShanah because for all intents & purposes its when the (civil) year starts in Israel. Theres debate about it, but I believe Ezk 40:1 is referring to this time in the Fall as a Rosh HaShana.

  • Does The Word in it's original tongues actually use the false Babylonian god/goddess names for times and seasons? We are not to even have their names on our lips...

  • @rbx The names of the months as Nisan, Sivan, Elul, Kislev, Tevet, Shevat & Adar are all, for example, used in the Bible. These were the names Babylon used. Do you ever use the names "Monday, Truesday.." for weekdays? I do. What words do you use for "January, February.."? We have to be careful not to fall into legalism. The Bible says not to have names of false gods on our lips, but the names of false gods are given in the Bible (like in rebuke), but its still okay to read Scripture - right? :)

  • @jarofclay9 Yes, reading The Word is great! The only reason their names are to be said are to expose them, as the prophets did. ( Eph 5:11 "Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them." ) Y'shua has to slowly reproved and corrected me and now I have repented of using the named days of the gregorian calendar. Now If I could only get around those pesky months.

  • @rbx If you don't want to use the names for the days of the week, its okay. But I just want to warn you against the spirit of religion. Certainly in Heaven there will be no need to use pagan names for days like Monday, January...but while we are on earth it can almost be necessary in our day to day lives. What I wanted to say is that the Bible uses some of the Babylonian names of months & it is not used for rebuke, but for identification. We can follow that example with names like January etc.

  • @jarofclay9 Agreed, by scripture alone :)

  • @jarofclay9 I don't believe anything that YHWH says is legalistic, although many sects of modern Christianity will label it that. Instead of seeing the definition of the verb צוה as the abstract "command," a more concrete Hebraic definition is to "provide directions for the trail" as we can see in the following verse. And we journeyed from Horeb... Just as YHWH our ELOHIM directed us (Deuteronomy 1:19). I only want to show Father I love him because He gave His only Son for us.

  • @jarofclay9 Something as little as trying not to say those names might seem petty to some. but YHWH knows my heart, and I want nothing more than to follow Him and Him alone. Thanks for you lesson on the video! Shalom, yom nifla!

  • Glad i watched this video. I believe it helps having a Jewish background when we need to understand the deeper meanings of the Torah laws. Thanks for this video sister. I love to learn new things and did so with your well presented video. Thank you and YAH bless you.

  • I should just watch the whole video for my answer.

  • I thought the new year is the month passover takes place.

  • @katpiering123 Hi Brother - how much of the video did you watch? ...I did talk about that and mention it in the annotations from the very start. The month of Passover, Nisan is called the Head of the Months. :)

  • @jarofclay9 I did watch the whole video but wrote this first message early in the video and later noticed you explain it. You used a very good example of the natural birth and spiritual birth. Blessings to you.

  • @katpiering123

Thanks, yes I think the natural birth and spiritual birth thing sums it up well. Did you want me to remove that comment or leave it? Either way is okay :) I think Yom Teruah/Rosh HaShanah is like the natural birth and Nisan is like the spiritual birth and only GOD's people can say they have a "second date of birth" LOL

  • @jarofclay9 Your comment doesnt bother me at all so you can leave it if you want. It is a very informative teaching from a Hebrew perspective. I love your accent and to hear you speak Hebrew. It looks like a difficult language to learn. Since alot of languages stems from the semitic language like Greek and Arabic and some latin letters.

  • @jarofclay9 I watched your video, are you saying there is a secret rapture? before Yeshua comes back on the Feast of Trumpets.

  • @Hi kerren, no worry, I'm not saying there is a secret rapture before YAHUSHUA returns on a Feast of Trumpets...by the way, what part of the vid gives you that idea? If you mean a rapture before his final return, which I believe will be on a Yom Kippur at the time of the Apocylypse in the future, yes I actually believe there will be a combination of Pre-, Mid-, and Post- Trib raptures, but that most believers will endure at least part of the Tribulation. Also satan will counterfeit the rapture.

  • God bless

  • My sister in Christ do you know how long the doors of Heaven will be open after Rosh Hashana? God Bless.

  • @vida130 :D

That is idiomatic/symbolic...The Gates of Heaven are "open" during the 10 Days of Awe starting with Rosh HaShanah and closed with Yom Kippur/Day of Atonement, which is symbolic of "Judgment Day", when everyone's fate is sealed. :)

  • this video is awesome! i'm excited to learn more hebrew & the holidays as well because there's so much to take in by studying these things and to me they're very important. thank you for making this video, now i want to learn even more of this lol!

  • @sammo21001

I'm glad you want to learn more :D Thats the main thing I'm trying to do - peak people's interest :)

so Bless YAH all praise honor and glory to GOD ALMIGHTY :D

  • Wow!!! I am so impressed with all your knowledge. I must watch it again because there is so much here to learn and i did not remember half of what you spoke.

Its interesting we shall not celebrate new year ,i do not celebrate christmas anymore.

  • Wow pretty good. Do you know anything about Comet Elenin. Some people are looking at this Comet Elenin as a sign of an event to come like the story of a 3 wise men who look at the star from the east as a sign of the coming King in Bethlehem. Some people are blaming this Comet for Chile,New Zealand and Japan earthquake. Right now this comet is between the sun and the earth, and it making it way out of our solar system. Lot of confusing story about this comet.

  • @tusialofa ...interesting. Yes, lots of conflicting information about Elenin!!!...I honestly do not think it is all over with it. Comets melt as they enter our atmosphere, if it's even a comet...but whatever was left of it, may have done some things - there was a 'rock' shower recently in Argentina. I don't know the meaning, but comets are often 'omens'. I had heard Elenin means "GOD's Hammer". El (Hebrew) Enin (Welsh?). I get a witness to that, as GOD is not happy with the heathen

  • @tusialofa

[2] Apart from Elenin, I think there should be more concern about niburu/planet x and it's moons. I've actually had dreams about that. That has potential to put our season out of synq by pulling our planet and moon of their normal orbit? tilt the axis of the earth, probably trigger more earthquakes, it may also cause meteor showers if it has debris etc.

But lets walk in holiness and stay safe in the ARK, JESUS CHRIST/YAHUSHUA - AMEN? :D so let's keep our faith and not walk in fear :)

  • WOW!! The joy you bring to your teaching is just amazing! This is so much more in depth than any other teaching I ever heard before on this subject. I am guessing you must be a pastor or a prophet to have so much wisdom.

  • @onlylove4yah Oh Praise YAH, thank you. All praise, honor and glory to ABBA YAHUVEH, YAHUSHUA & the HOLY GHOST. :D Nope, not a pastor and not walking in the calling of a prophet either. Maybe some of the gifts of a prophet, but wouldn't call myself a prophet as it is...

I pray we all have more Wisdom and Holiness day by day and that GOD grants us more anointing, fruit and gifts of HIS SPIRIT. :)

  • very nice. i have one comment: when Christ fulfilled the firstfruit moedim He did it with no breaks, in the same season, at the appointed time, without variance, in perfect succession. because of this, we can be assured of the same manner of fulfillment for the ingathering moedim. most assuredly judgment day/7-10/yom kippur will be fulfilled exactly 9 days after the fulfillment of trumpets. any interpretation attempting to shoe-horn an interval of years between 7/1 and 7/10 needs reevaluated

  • @meta

:D Well, everyone is entitled to their opinion. But don't worry, I do actually agree with you.

I do believe that there will be a consecutive fulfillment in the same season of the same year as: Rosh - a rapture; Yom K, start of G.T.; & Sukkot/Ingathering Rev 7:9-11 will begin

Although we have to keep in mind that the fulfillment of the Feasts can be more complex than it's often described and these have more fulfillment and meaning than just these particular events.

  • @meta [2 - continuing my last post]

The fulfillment of these days can be more complex than it's often described. For example, these times have multiple fulfillments. For example Yom Kippur was the day when: Moses returned with the 2nd set of the 2 tablets & mishkan plans; YAHUSHUA began HIS earthly ministry; the Great Tribulation may begin, and also the timing for armageddon"Judgment Day" at the close of the G.T.; and "Judgment Day" at the close of the Millennial Reign. So more expansive :)

  • Is tonight the blowing for the Sabbath start and the Rosh Hashanah? Does that make it a high holy day? Or...is it tomorrow that is the the high holy day with the festival falling on the Sabbath? I am confused. We are newbies trying to follow this.

  • @studentinlearning Hi :D

it depends on whether you determine the New Month by the pre-set calendar or by the actual appearance of the New Moon over Jerusalem. I added some thing to the bottom of the description about that. If you go by the New Moon, today/Friday/September 30 2011 is the 1st day of Rosh Ha Shanah. (But remember, the Jewish day starts the evening before, so last night was the start; it works like the weekly Sabbath which is Saturday, but actually begins Friday at sundown).

  • @studentinlearning

Did I answer your question okay?

  • @jarofclay9 yes, but I am puzzled and need further clarification. If it starts on the evening of Sept. 30th then is it finished by today on the third? Many of us are wondering if it is still RH today since Venus leaves the Virgo today, a possible time for the catching away or harpazo if it is this Rosh Hashanah. Thanks for sharing your knowledge in this area.

  • @studentinlearning Thanks for your comment...

Rosh HaShanah is definitely over by now. I've not heard anything about Venus being in Virgo, has something to do with the Rapture? hmmm, where's info on that? I'd imagine Virgo/Bethulah has something to do with the Bride of Christ? ...reminds me of Rev 12 also :)

  • My dear sweet sister and friend, thank you for this wonderful teaching! So good to see your face and hear your voice once again. Sending you much love tonight and always. Barb in Denver, Colorado!

  • This is my first year learning about the Fall Feasts as a Christian. I did a video for Christians like me trying to get it. I will tweet and email this video out there world wide. Thank You,

    Tony

  • when is the last trump of the feast of trumpets this year?

  • @Hi Terri, it depends on whether you determine the New Month by the pre-set calendar (official) or by the actual appearance of the New Moon over Jerusalem. The pre-set calendar puts the 1st day of Rosh Ha Shanah on September 29th - but starts the evening before on the 28th. Remember, a Jewish day is sunset to sunset, not midnight to midnight. If by New Moon, the first day falls today September 30th, but began yesterday evening September 29th. (The New Moon was sighted last night Thursday 29th).

  • You are just what the Doctor Jesus* ordered.... great information for times such as these we are in... as we are looking for the glorious appearance of our Lord and Savior Jesus in the clouds... I love the part of the Father tells the Son it is time to get your Bride.

Truly God makes all things work together for good for those that love the Lord,... See you here there or in the air Sis.. Jesus* Blessings to you...

  • WOW, I learned alot. Praise YAHUSHUA!! It is really amazing how YAHUSHUA anoints you to teach on this. Thanks alot sis! There is so much precious hidden truths in the word, thanks for letting us all know and bringing clarity! Thank YOU Abba YAH!

    xox

  • Thank you for the excellent video, very informative, and you are a lovely young lady.

  • Thanks for the teaching! When does this Rosh Hashanah begin.

  • @paulgem123

  • @paulgem123 Thank you Paul, I'm adding it to the description about the dates :D

  • Haven't watched it yet but gonna soon! Thank you Abba YAHUVEH and YAHUSHUA for anointing my sister to glorify YOU with this Holy knowledge!!

  • This was beautiful, well done and informative beloved daughter in YAH! Looking forward to these other teachings videos! woo hoo! YAH helps you make this interesting and understandable! We love you! YAH bless.

  • @hmghosthost

You are correct, Scripture does call it Yom Teruah! :D

and the Torah does not call it "Rosh HaShanah". Did you watch the video? I cover that in the first few minutes.

The other things you mentioned are true as well.

  • @hmghost oops sorry, I was rereading your comment and sorry I read it too quickly the first time. I'm also sorry I accidently deleted it! You wrote "Messiah was born in the Feast of Trumpets, was circumcised eight days later on Yom Kippur". Actually YAHUSHUA/JESUS was born at Tabernacles/Sukkot. He was circumcised 8 days later on the "Last Great Day" of the feast of Sukkot. Also, Rosh HaShanah is the 1st of Tishri and Yom Kippur is the 10th day, so that is 10 days difference, not quite 8 :)

  • Thank You so very for this Teaching, SHALOM,!.

  • Beloved sister, thank you for making these videos, they are always very anointed. The Precious RUACH ha KODESH/Holy Spirit is using you in a mighty way. Many are blessed by these teachings about the feasts of our Heavenly Father. Shalom & blessings of deuteronomy 28 be upon you in YAHUSHUA our MASHIACH's Name amein

  • Beloved sister, this is lovely! I learned so much. LOL When you said "you're probably asking yourself 'so you're saying there are 2 new years?' " LOL I really was asking myself that questions. Beautifully explained a child could understand. PRAISE YAHUSHUA for you! I always look forward to your videos.

  • WOW WOW WOW!! :D Sis i learned so much from this video! I was literally glued to my seat haha YAHUVEH is SOO beautiful the way that these days and feasts are put together so perfectly. Im at a loss for words at the majesty of our King YAHUSHUA, this is SOO awesome!!! :D Thank you so much sis for this video, my wife and i had such a good time watching it together. And we love the hebrew accent hahahah!! your so funny sis.

We love you YAHUSHUA!! Please count us worthy to be part of YOUR bride!

  • Wow Sis i enjoy learning about the Holy Jewish Feast Days! Great Job for the Glory of YAHUSHUA our MASHIACH! HALLELUYAH!!! Very exciting, just to know that our MESSIAH will come in a Feast like this wow! May YAHUSHUA continue to anoint you sis to do HIS works and to preach HIS word in the Holy Name of our MESSIAH YAHUSHUA!!!

  • @YAHsHolyMinistry Praise YAH!! ALL praise honor and glory to GOD ALMIGHTY!

  • @YAHsHolyMinistry There is a misunderstanding of the Feast Days. They are the LORDS FEAST!! AND WE WERE ALL COMMANDED TO KEEP THEM FOREVER! People in the western world have been taught that the feast days are Jewish and they do not have to observe them. Thus they are keeping Christmas and Easter and having no understanding of what God has fulfilled and what God is GOING TO FULFILL!! Because we don't read the Bible for ourselves. (I was one of them.)

  • @kerrenperry

Amen I agree with everything you wrote. Praise YAH!! They are the LORD's Feasts, but they are also Jewish. I believe it is like a test for people. Many fail to realize that believers are grafted into the House of Israel and they boast over the natural branches (the Jews). JESUS/YAHUSHUA was and is the King of the Jews and is the Jew of Jews. I think the problem is when people are taught not to observe them and are influenced into a distain for all things Jewish

  • @jarofclay9 Amen Yes Yeshua is Jew of all Jews!! Salvation comes from the JEWS! Thank you so much for your video, GOD BLESS YOU! Question: How can anyone know Yeshua if they only keep Christmas and Easter and never learn HIS FEAST?

  • Praise YAHUSHUA our MASHIACH sister! This is a very beautiful and anointed video with such a powerful teaching to back it up. Truly appreciate all that you do for YAHUSHUA our MASHIACH's praise Honor and Glory!

  • @TrustYAH777

I appreciate you and all you do too dear bro!
