  • i like this dish, but i would prefer the fresh spinach & not chopped. is it possible?

  • @oimrairs Hi there, of course you can use fresh spinach, as spinach releases liquid, its best to blanch the spinach and squeeze out the excess liquid before making this recipe. Hope you give it a try, and please do let me know how you like it.

  • I'd eat that. I wouldn't make it but I'd eat it.

  • @charliewheeler21 So you don't like cooking LOL! I am glad though you like the perfect spinach & eggs breakfast recipe. It's a meal in itself and soooo easy to prepare specially when using frozen spinach instead of fresh. Enjoy!

  • This is a great way to incorporate spinach into something my kids and I will eat! Great idea and i will try it soon.

  • @MsBella8018 My grand children love this dish. I sometimes prepare the spinach and egg for lunch. They finish it in seconds! And they don't like spinach very much! Give it a try and let us know about the result. We would love to hear from you.

  • Those eggs don't look cooked...

  • @superearthbender it's basically a poached egg...

  • @Dudemag Yes, but that doesn't mean it's any more healthy. Both of them can be dangerous.

  • Not very healthy with all that SALT in it.

  • @kali1607 salt is very healthy if you're an active individual like myself

  • Instead if having the whole eggs, is it possible to pour beaten eggs over the spinach?

  • @bummer4451 Sorry to be so late to answer. To answer your question I sometimes cook the eggs before and add the spinach later. Try it, it comes out great too. Let me know if you have already tried either way and how was the result. We would love to hear from you.

  • Hm, could you use canned Spinach? if so, how many pounds?

  • I had it on toast. It was very good.

  • Glad you liked it. It's a pleasant way to eat spinach. My grand children love it.

  • This looks amazing =) im just wondering, how can you be sure the eggs are fully cooked ?

  • You can cover the pan with a lid while cooking the eggs. Once the yolks are firm, the eggs are fully cooked.

  • @flintrocks You can make sure the eggs are fully cooked by when the yoke is hard, if your going to mix it with the spinach, then just continue to cook until the egg looks like it is cooked through. Hope this helps. Mariette

  • you are good cook ,and very clean .too i love your kitchen,
