  • are any of the front attachments interchangable with the same parts on the hand crank wheat grass juicer by Tribest? Ke Rohler showe example of the hand crank one (with solid metal base in his Frash and Alive DVD (disk 1).

  • Nope, Tribest made them different sizes.

  • it would probably have been smart business move to mthe pieces interchagable. That way users could have a powered and manul unit. Then they have backup parts and take up less space.

  • I spat alot of water over the top of the laptop screen when the "used" grass started slunking out. That could have been bad, but it was just hilarious.

  • LOL!

  • Don't grass the juice man...

  • I noted the lady touching the dog whilst she was putting the grass in the machine - wouldn't you say that is not exactly healthy to do?

I have an omega juicer and am very very happy with it. It looks very similar to the one you have. The pulp is dry and it is easy to clean.

Do you put any minerals on the soil before spreading out the wheat berries?

  • Ohhhhh! So that's where she got the rabies from!

  • That's a good question about minerals. We use a whole slew of stuff in their water: Ocean Grown sea minerals, liquid kelp, Effective Microorganisms (probiotic), fungus mycorrhiza, rock powders: azomite, New Jersey green sand , etc. fulvic & humic acids, ORMUS minerals, and more. We build the soil outdoors over many months. The sprouts are grown in a scalar field from our Stress Shield device, makes plants healthier and grow stronger. I'll make a video on "quantum sprouting" in the coming months.

  • Not so much anal retention with these juices ...

    quite the opposite!!!

I have mine daily with steamed spinach and cabbage and by the afternoon everybody's left the office!

  • why so anal retentive?

  • How many ounces can you yield from a tray?

  • About 8 to 12 ounces, depending on humidity and watering. If I get busy and water less frequently, less juice yield. In summer the room I grow gets warmer and drier, so less juice unless I'm diligent about watering.

  • Not sure if it makes much difference, but your suppose to juice wheatgrass top down into the juicer, you were putting the bottom in first..

  • With the SoloStar it doesn't make much difference, the pulp is very dry throughout, one of the reasons it's my favorite juicer. For most people the biggest chalenge is just to get them to put either end in a juicer!

  • :) hey dont'cha need oranges to suk it down w/?

  • so please tell me why it is good for your body to take wheat grass. I have been putting a spoonful of wheatgrass in my water for about 7 months everyday. is that a good thing to do? I actually like the taste too. please your input. regards

  • um i think it haslike ALOT of vitamnans in it

  • hm buying the organic powder form is hassle freeier.

  • Yup, it's hassle free, and so is sawdust. Live plant juices have ORMUS minerals, chlorophyll, phytochemicals, enzymes, structured water, and more that make them highly regenerative. Dried powders, even those done at low temperature, do not have the energetics, homeopathy, cell hydration, nutrients, electrolites, and more that live juices have. There's much more than just chemistry to live food. Powders are better than nothing if you're transitioning.

  • Can't I just use a blend them & suck em all down?

  • where did you get the trays soil and seeds?

  • Trays from local nurseries, they usually give them away free. Organic non-irradiated wheat berries from Jaffee Brothers, organicfruitsandnuts dt com.

  • wow thanks, so after you cut it does it start to regrow or do you have to clean it out and put in more seeds? nice kitchen btw, i dont even think that juicer would fit on my counter so i'm going to get a little blender.

  • You must dump the root mat and start again with fresh soil and sprouted seeds. You can't regrow the cut grass, it doesn't have much nutrition, usually won't grow well, and usually molds. You can juice with a blender but it's messy and takes as long as using a juicer. You must blend the grass and then squeeze it in a mesh bag, available at places like Home Depot or Lowes in the paint department. (Wash it well.)

  • I have a juiceman juicer, will it work for this?

  • No, the Juiceman is a "centrifugal" juicer that won't juice greens or wheatgrass. The best juicer to use under $1,000 is a Tribest Solostar II, it extracts about 25% more juice than others, including the more expensive juicers made by Tribest. Single auger or twin gear juicers will juice anything. The next best would be a Tribest Green Star, but they cost close to $500 and are difficult to assemble and clean. Omega and Samson aren't as good as the Tribest products, for various reasons.

  • Thanks for the info.

  • Where to buy that?

  • The juicer is a Tribest Solostar II. Lowest price online is at freshandalive dt com, $233, free shipping.

  • I hope that wasn't poisoned with tap water.

  • Never, we only use filtered (no RO), structured Spring Water for all our sprouts and ourselves.

  • whats structured water

  • Check out budurl dt com/fy5f, or Google "structured water"

  • how long does it take to grow?

  • Usually 7 - 10 days, but can be longer if the temp is cooler.
