And blasphemous kind of metal, why would you do that? Metalheads are meant to be open minded and accept the fact that not all people think the same, plus there is war against genres of metal. THE ISSUE: parents dont understand and believe that this is satanic music when it is the opposite. adults are still stuck in the old traditions of the church when even Jesus and his disciples didnt do them a lot of times they just sat around enjoyed eachothers company, ate and worshiped the glory of God. it isnt about how you worship its about the fact that you worship and that you believe in God and Jesus
the whole reason for this christcore (christian metalcore/alternative) is to reach out to the younger generation because we as humans naturally feel the need to rebel and as we are still young we have not yet learned to curb our rebelious will. this kind of music apeals to our more chaotic side as it is not so uniform as tipical christian music. As we need to rebel this rebelious sounding music fills our desire for a higher need and rebelious state.

(i humor people and listen to their crap while reading the bible and drinking soda) And i listened to about 20 seconds before i said to myself. I'm not going to argue with you. I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. No need to call anyone ignorant. I in no way have ever put God in a box. He can do anything that he chooses to do, and I'm not saying that people can't come to Christ through this type of music...I simply feel that a certain level of maturity in Christ will lead them toward a different style of music (if they are truly saved, I feel eventually they will become convicted by the holy spirit).
God tells us to abstain from all things evil, to be children of light, to avoid the darkness. He also tells us to put on our armor of light. God tells us there will be a day when evil will be looked upon as good and good looked upon as evil. The devil (Satan) was the angel of music in the bible. What better "instrument" to try to attack God's people. When the deliver of even "good" lyrics is overpowered by heavy beats and anger, it's not of God, it's plainly of the devil.

Yes, Satan was in charge of the music and the most beautiful of angels......and I believe he has worked through the music industry for years to destroy generations of people through their music and lifestyles. I just don't believe there can be "Christian Mental" anymore than "Christian Beer"...or Christian Cocaine"....just adding Christian in front of something to describe it does not make it Christian. This is a Beautiful song regardless that it sounds something heavy, worship and expressing our love for Christ regardless of it's sound is all the same. At least that's how I see it. @LukyRemington Probably the reason for that is that satanic bands aren't always truly satanic. They do it for the fans and the money. But Christian bands have a true purpose: to proclaim the good news. They're hearts are on fire and they show it through their music.

I could care less about anyone's beliefs. A good song, is a good song. Also, I enjoy finding bands like this because "Metal" and the such has such a "dark" "Satanic" image to it, to those who don't take the time out to learn each artists views, and bashed by religious comunities. That when I hear this, and read the lyrics it just goes to show you it doesn't matter. If it's good metal, it's gonna be good. Plus the posistive message they provide in every song is a breath of air from SFU somtimes.

This band is probably the best melodic death metal Christian band I know of. I don't really listen to this as a way to glorify God because it doesn't seem appropriate. But this band is great with a lot of talent.

I'm not going to argue with you. I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. No need to call anyone ignorant. I in no way have ever put God in a box. He can do anything that he chooses to do, and I'm not saying that people can't come to Christ through this type of music...I simply feel that a certain level of maturity in Christ will lead them toward a different style of music (if they are truly saved, I feel eventually they will become convicted by the holy spirit).

God tells us to abstain from all things evil, to be children of light, to avoid the darkness. He also tells us to put on our armor of light. God tells us there will be a day when evil will be looked upon as good and good looked upon as evil. The devil (Satan) was the angel of music in the bible. What better "instrument" to try to attack God's people. When the deliver of even "good" lyrics is overpowered by heavy beats and anger, it's not of God, it's plainly of the devil.

@ogrepack1976 music has many different faces, they are pop, rock, blues, jazz, metal, heavy metal, rap, and all of them can be used to praise God, God does not convict those who happen to like a different style of music, or push them through the holy spirit to listen to only hillsong or matthew west, as long as the music is praising Him, the Lord is please, Col 3:16 ...admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

This is a Beautiful song regardless that it sounds something heavy, worship and expressing our love for Christ regardless of it's sound is all the same. At least that's how I see it. Also, this song is very up lifting with a posistive message. To each their own.

also, christian metal is a fitting way to express one's faith. the crucifixion and resurrection is about as brutal and condoning of metal music as you can get, and he did it voluntarily, for us. is that metal? oh yeah!

I could care less about anyone's beliefs. A good song, is a good song. Also, I enjoy finding bands like this because "Metal" and the such has such a "dark" "Satanic" image to it, to those who don't take the time out to learn each artists views, and bashed by religious comunities. That when I hear this, and read the lyrics it just goes to show you it doesn't matter. If it's good metal, it's gonna be good. Plus the posistive message they provide in every song is a breath of air from SFU somtimes.

This band is probably the best melodic death metal Christian band I know of. I don't really listen to this as a way to glorify God because it doesn't seem appropriate. But this band is great with a lot of talent.
