  • if heel toe is not a technique.. so what is it?? a dog? XD .

  • what happens if you do heel toe?........

  • you can`t cheat in music..

  • @d00dthatslegit the type of equipment you use does not determine whether or not you are a poser. The actual drumming does that.

  • nobody need that shit

  • Great video...glad I purchased one. Of course it's not cheating. That's why many pro drummers use it.

  • Great video...glad I purchased one.

  • this is really cool

  • thats not how you sit in a chair!

  • @d00dthatslegit Let's see it then yo.

  • There's a fine line between laziness and innovation. This is cool!:D

  • well in the music world, any pedal, stomp box of effect we use with our instrument people think its cheating, cuz lets face it some ppl can pull off certain things without a little help, but i dont find it cheating, i find it helps make all of us musicians different, like for instance on drums i (unlike many i know) love the wuhan china cymbal, i dont know why but i love it, and i also love techniques with pedals, and yes i want a dualist haha

  • ITS LIKE NORMAL DRUMMING BUT WITH GODMODE HACKS

  • pedal fetish?

  • hola , no podrias poner un video con la regulacion de los tornillos de la plancha y de los resortes gracias

  • ANYONE WHO SAYS THAT IT'S A CHEATER IS DEAD WRONG. THE DUALIST COULD HELP THOSE WHO CAN'T KEEP A STEADY BEAT ON TRADITIONAL DOUBLE BASS PEDALS. ALSO PEOPLE WHO SAY THAT TRIPLE PEDAL IS EVEN STUPIDER ARE JUST IDIOTS BECAUSE IT'S JUST LIKE USING A REGULAR DOUBLE PEDAL YOUR USING BOTH FEET BUT YOU JUST HAVE AN EXTRA BEAT IN YOUR PLAYING. IT'S NOT CHEATING IT'S SMART

  • @brdane hello! you are very right!.......i .m thinking to buy a duallist pedal ....i like the features and what you can make with the pedal...

  • What about the Hands Asshole!! what are you gonna do with them Jerk Off!!??

  • @MrHouseofdrums how is he an asshole. Calm down.

  • If you mention "cheating" here, you are a complete idiot. It is guaranteed that you use your < $99 double kick to bump slopped out 1/16th notes to your favorite breakdown tight-pants hair-sweep indie metal band songs that consistantly involve squirrel vocals. This is mastery, and the concepts are WAY out of the box. Great job Dany

  • i hate you

  • id buy it for fun but i couldnt take myself seriously at a gig

  • are duallists for cheaters???????

  • @vinnypapa63 You could not do this with these pedals, how is it cheating?

  • @Gratch2222 When you use a single pedal it does a double hit...

  • i like the idea just i dont understand how it works..

  • Cool now his hands are free for him to jack himself (or someone else) off with, every drummers dream.

    Its not cheating, its lame.

  • Some really creative ideas there.

  • I'm not a dualist user but I'd much rather have a bunch of real drummers playing these "cheater" pedals, than the drum machines we have all over the radio now.

  • real men can have a whole band with their feet, and have the excess with their hands

  • this is not cheating...if u think about it...its still a double pedal

  • im buying a double bass kit and two dualist pedals so i can have quad bass lmao

  • very kool

  • Why everybody call this cheating thats SO STUPID

  • @adaaaan Some people can't deal with progress, lol ...

  • @Anarchist48 Hahahaha sure (:

  • i like the pedal..i hate picture slideshows

  • you're a bad mother fucker

  • 2-3 clave! Nice!

  • amagine 2 bass drums and 2 dualist pedals!

  • @smattman22 check out guido wyss, he uses 2 sonor giant step pedals, amazingly fast. be aware of haters tho

  • thats be like a quad pedle... itd be seeeeeck

  • So, now you can loose your arms in an accident, and still be a drummer.

  • Rick Allen!!! lol

  • This is the 1st respectable use of a dualist that ive seen because its the only example where something is played that cant be played on a regular single pedal. That extra beat you get coming off the pedal gives you time to hit another instrument pedal. Thats nearly impossible with a standard pedal.

  • are you really that bored? damn u need a gf sir!

  • you should get out more

  • it just seem boring playing with your feet like that.

  • I wouldn't call it cheating, I think the dualist is harder to use to play complex double bass beats having to always switch back and fro from single to double seems like a pain. So it requires a diff. type of skill. It's ok to play basic gallops and straight 16ths but to switch from various seems a lot hard with the dualist.

I personally play a normal double pedal.

  • i play alot of blues and jazz and fine its a nice touch but when i played hardcore stuff it got very ifficult but i say go foe it its a great pedal

  • cool - cause i dont feel like using my hands to drum

  • lol you cracked me up dude good point!!!

  • It's funny how people refer to this as cheating; what if this, as a single pedal (with two beaters), was invented before (or instead of) the double-kick pedal. I can imagine once someone invented a double-kick pedal after something like this had been the norm, people would be saying that double-kick pedal assemblies would be useless or impractical, if not cheating in some way.

  • Its not cheating!!! all its doin is making a new way to play double bass drumming and giving you more options!! I mean i owned a DW 9000 series double pedal and i hated setting it up everytime to play and sometimes wouldnt feel right.........this has really helped me and gives my left foot some hi-hat action so all these pple who say its "cheating" go buy one or test one out and see how it is!!!

  • well then are people who use double bass pedals posers? why dont they just suck it up and learn heal toe or some other method of acheiving speed on a single bass pedal?

  • some actually argue that heel-toe is cheating.

just goes to show how arrogant some people can be.

  • your a poser.. all it is is a way to explore more options on the drum set so people can reach new levels of acheivment..

  • Thank you, Dr. Morbid! So many of these "BPM'ers" are such clones.......doing what's already been done and never striking out on their own to do something new and diverse. I adore my Duallist triple and wouldn't give it up for a million dollars. All you haters out there, save your welfare checks and actually BUY a Duallist, and you'll see what all the fuss is about. Until then, SHADDAP!

  • any relation to chino moreno haha

  • You are not learning nothing.. Of course this dude playing has learned to do it with regular pedals first and then on the dualist.. I just don't see what you learn by cheating your self out of really learning it

  • im considering buying some of these cause my feet hurt very easily when i play alot of double bass stuff

  • look at your technique id say

  • These are the kind of unique things you can do with the Duallist, that people can't seem to get through their head. It's all "cheating" to them, but to hell with it I say.

  • Some people can't accept Diversity.

  • ya no kidding i hate when peopl call it "cheating" really they just don get it. good point

  • Exactly. Those are people who only think in bpm. They can't even imagine that double pedal has any other use that rapid-fast single stroke rolls. So they probably can't comprehend the usage not even when it is shown right in fron of their eyes (like in this video).

"Double bass is only for high BPM right? What else could you do? ... SO THIS MUST BE CHEATING!"

    So stupid.

  • @lordofultima

    Lol,

The first 3 patterns he plays with his right foot are pretty easy done with a normal (single) pedal.

I also have seen vids (virgil donati comes to mind) where he plays 3 notes with one foot ( with the same speed as in this vid) so I rest my case that this is still being lazy...

  • @Pandorastoolbox I didn't say they were impossible, I said it's unique that you can maneuver your foot in this way to get these patterns, it's certainly less effort, but since when has pure skill dictated what is good music and what isn't? Music =/= Competition

  • @lordofultima its not that people really see the pedal it self as cheating so much as wanna be drummers getting this with the thought in their head that they are the next Tim Yeung when in fact they don't even have a grasp of the fundamentals.
