in my opinion this was the worst episode I've ever seen. There were some good parts. I loved seeing all the regenerations, but as a whole, I'd rather not see this twice.
I was extremely disappointed in this years Christmas special. David Tennant was fantastic as always, but the writers seemed to think they could get away with giving him all the good lines while that other Doctor guy got to stare off into space, asking himself 'Who am I? I'm a fake...it's as if all of my memories from the past...'
He just blabbered on with this stupid drivel that seemed dramatic and sentimental, but it was just so horrid!
made me laugh making out there would be two dr's they forgot two things the googanons and ziptrets which would make all this impossible unless the doctor made the tardis travel through 7.2567 timezones errrrrrrr impossible.
i notice that already the entire 08 christmas special is already on you tube, i clicked on it ready to watch it in its entirety very excited when suddenly a message came up saying that it is not available for veiwing in my country! i was gutted!! it never did that last year, what gives?? im in australia by the way and looks like i'll have to wait till july to watch this :(

The 10th Doctor also said "allons-y!" in the 2007 Christmas Special: Voyage of the Damned after meeting the midshipman Alonso Frame. He also says the same thing in season 2 or 3 but I forget the exact episode. Maybe some one else can chime in with that info.

Maybe he's a doctor from an alternate universe or timeline? That way it's a different doctor and that would explain why they don't remember each other because there not that same person there from alternate universes, but thats just my theory anyway should be good to see what will happen I'm definitely looking forward to it David is awesome!
It's obvious that this is an alternate universe, that's where these versions of the Cybermen came from so this other Doctor will be an alternate Doctor - that's why he didn't recognise Tennant? That's my view anyway.

he left the future one in the library. The one he got now, the silver/blue one is the "old" one in the future doctors live when he knows riversong. He actually wont leave it until really far in the future, but it is actually in the present life of the doctor. I have no idea if that made any sense

I really hope that this fellow is the 11th Doctor. I loved the 9th and 10th Doctor, though the 7th and 8th are my favorite (at least in due part to their stories in the Virgin and BBC novels), but I think the 10th Doctor's storyline has come to a very good ending with the end of the 4th season. Time to wrap things up, time for someone new. I wonder if this is the Doctor who has the wife? (As seen in the Library's story.)
I think David M. is great as the Doctor even if the clip a few seconds long. He's definitely different no two doctors are really the same and I can't wait the 3 weeks till this airs. It makes me hopeful to see if he stays as the 11th Doctor.

Oh and also realize that Gallifrey was destroyed in the 8th Doctor's novels from BBC. The Doctor destroyed his planet in order to destroy an even greater enemy that threatened the universe. See the two books "Ancestor Cell" by Peter Anghelides and Stephen Cole and "Gallifrey Chronicles" by Lance Parkin. So even if Gallifrey is a nexus point throughout the various universes and their histories, the good ol Doc has a way with making the planet blow up.
it's not just that David Morrisey's Doctor has amnesia. The Doctor has always said he can sense the presence of another Time Lord. He isnt using the camealian(?) arch either, because Morrisey still remembers being the Doctor and all the Doctor stuff. Proud just another red hearing, imposter, whateva.
I think that, that the other doctor and the woman, who I read on wiki is called Rosita, are some kind of imitators, doing it for the credibility. Besides Rosita could be a mix between the names Rose and Martha.

Unfortunately people, David Tennant will be leaving ....but not yet! After He does the other Doctor Who Specials for the next 2 years that's when he'll be leaving. I'm being honest, I was watching TV and I forgot when it was but he said that he'll be leaving after the 2009 and 2010 Christmas Specials.

he left the future one in the library. The one he got now, the silver/blue one is the "old" one in the future doctors live when he knows riversong. He actually wont leave it until really far in the future, but it is actually in the present life of the doctor. I have no idea if that made any sense

I really hope that this fellow is the 11th Doctor. I loved the 9th and 10th Doctor, though the 7th and 8th are my favorite (at least in due part to their stories in the Virgin and BBC novels), but I think the 10th Doctor's storyline has come to a very good ending with the end of the 4th season. Time to wrap things up, time for someone new. I wonder if this is the Doctor who has the wife? (As seen in the Library's story.)

I think David M. is great as the Doctor even if the clip a few seconds long. He's definitely different no two doctors are really the same and I can't wait the 3 weeks till this airs. It makes me hopeful to see if he stays as the 11th Doctor.

ok sorry if i'm repeating anyone, haven't looked through the previous comments. anyway, i just bought the new radio times, and there's a pic in it of the two doctors, and morrisey's doctor is holding a fob watch. just like the doctor and the master had in series 3.... anyone thinking slight chameleon arch type thing?

Oh and also realize that Gallifrey was destroyed in the 8th Doctor's novels from BBC. The Doctor destroyed his planet in order to destroy an even greater enemy that threatened the universe. See the two books "Ancestor Cell" by Peter Anghelides and Stephen Cole and "Gallifrey Chronicles" by Lance Parkin. So even if Gallifrey is a nexus point throughout the various universes and their histories, the good ol Doc has a way with making the planet blow up.

it's not just that David Morrisey's Doctor has amnesia. The Doctor has always said he can sense the presence of another Time Lord. He isnt using the camealian(?) arch either, because Morrisey still remembers being the Doctor and all the Doctor stuff. Proud just another red hearing, imposter, whateva.

I think that, that the other doctor and the woman, who I read on wiki is called Rosita, are some kind of imitators, doing it for the credibility. Besides Rosita could be a mix between the names Rose and Martha.
