@bathtownship He went to Wisconsin and was a four time all american in cross country. His Freshman year was his best with a 9th place finish at the NCAA D1 National Championship. He didn't get any better because of his struggles with some injuries.

It definitely does! Cross Country is a Mental and physical sport. Takes great deal of determination to succeed in cross country! I ran it for 2 years and it changed my life in many ways! GO XC!

Actually not only is it a physical and mental sport but also its one of the most challenging sport out there. Most people don't realize it but cross country is the strongest sport out there. All people focus on in high school is football or something else, cross country is a beautiful sport that hardly gets notice, don't you think? (if you really think about it, our brain is the most powerful muscle in our body)
