  • I think it gives a sense of control. Im working on this Starting Today. I've also been starting some throat chakra techniques/exercises. I know that will help thanks for the tips! How has it been going with ur language usages?

  • God is ANGRY with the wicked EVERYDAY - Psalm 7:11 FEAR GOD AND DEPART FROM EVIL- Proverbs 3:7 REPENT OR PERISH- Luke 13:5 HELL FIRE BURNS FOREVER! REPENT NOW! HE WHO COVERS HIS SIN WILL NOT PROSPER, BUT HE WHO CONFESSES AND FORSAKES THEM SHALL HAVE MERCY- PROVERBS 28:13 REPENT OF YOUR SINS AND FLEE TO JESUS CHRIST, WHO ALONE HAS POWER TO SAVE!

  • i cursed n i felt dirty like my conseous hates me i`ll stop right away

  • this is completely retarded. ur trying to tell me that a combination of sounds that i make with my throat, toungue, and/or lips should r offensive? "curse" words have a place in diction just like verbs or adjectives. what kind of mayberry world would this be? the sad part is people like this, christians, r always trying to enforce completely made up rules of conduct for 2 thousand years. u people don't get it. get a science book. learn and understand instead of making up crap.

  • ya its a realy badhabit and it is realy hard to stop. you are so right. thankyou for making this video. and helping mw stop cursing

  • You need to review my video, as well as read my comments on this page, ghostofday. I agree with what you are saying. One can never you a "curse" word, but be foul in their intentions. However, look at yourself. You chose to put a bunch of profanity on my video and homepage! You could have said your piece without any profanity. A prime example of what I mean. REWATCH THE VID. I actually narrow down my critque to people who cannot hold a normal conversation without cursing. This means no control.

  • You remind me of Archie Bunker and how it showed the ridiculousness of racism except with this its cursing. The story of the 16 and 17 year olds cursing around a child shows what society is almost in modern times. The even worse part is that the 40 year old was there involved in the cursing.

    Great video~5*s

  • I agree. Profanity is never necessary, just makes thing worse. I can't stand it.

  • Thank you for your vid. We all need to stop cussin, but most of all we need to respect all. That way we will get respect in return. This was a good vid and I enjoyed and learned somthing. 5 Stars!!!

  • Thanks for the positive feedback. Judging from some previous comments, I wondered if my message was clear enough. Thanks again.

  • i can control it mostly but online i do it a lot ......dont know why!?

  • They are words...as my friend Lemonette would say "Words are tools , not weapons" but you can use them as weapons they are words and I don't mind them. If someone calls me a kike , I take offence but it takes maturity to admit your mistakes.

    5/5 from a Youtube Celebrity :)

  • Granted its all about respect. There is a time and place for everything. Cursing can rub off on some folks. Some of the so call high esteemed men of cloth cuss like a sailor, and he/she should be called out for it, misrepresentation. At the same time, if you cuss, that's your perogative, but respect those who don't want to hear the garbage mouths.

  • lawsy lawd son words aint shit anyways

  • at lunch... me and my two friends pull out this little plastic wigglytuff figure and go on a swearing fit... and start yelling curse words so people with in a mile radius around us can hear it :D

  • But society dictates what is a "curse word" and what is not...

  • I curse sometimes...not around my parents, not around children. I control it pretty well.

But, in the end, they are only words.

  • Yeah the are just word, I only cuss around people that are chill with it.

  • Final question: Can sewerage water & drinking water come from the same tap?

Decide which one you want to be, and strive for that. But you can't be both.

  • I.e. is smoking a sin? Let's say a person know he will die because of cigarettes. Wouldn't smoking be a sin? But what about the person that smokes only one cigarette a month (which does no bodily harm), is that a sin? What is the intent of the cigarette -- to please the cravings of your mind? This can be the same of anything -- drugs / alcohol / food / cursing ... if these things control you, you are not controled by the Spirit.

  • Smoking isn't mentioned in the Bible. But addiction is. Addiction perverts the soul, commands our affections, confuses our priorities, and all of that distorts our perception and judgment.

It is very hard for us to understand a just, perfectly true Father with such trivialities commanding us.

  • Exactly my point! Smoking, drinking, eating, sex ... not a sin. But the addiction is because the consequences of that addiction causes pain & confusion, which in turn can seperate you from God. Swearing falls into the same category.

  • I wanted to know what is this father title? 2nd, I have to tell you that I only "so call curse or cuss". I never intend to harm anyone. I am a black person and I use the N word. It is not a curse or cuss word to me. If you believe it fine. But profanity is based on the intent not the word.

  • I do agree with you 100% - it IS the intent. However, 1) interpreting the intention is in the eye (or ear) of the beholder. 2) How do you convince someone of your faith while using foul language? 3) It is a mental addiction. All addictions control the mind. We are to be controlled by the Spirit. 4) What is the definition of the word used? If you feel uncomfortable explaining the definition, then you should feel the same when using it.

  • Go to my channel and you will see who the "Father" is. Peace. Thank for the comments, keep them coming.

  • A black man that says "cursing" instead of "cussing".... i'm impressed. Seriously.

  • I'm a white man and I say cussing, so I guess there's no way I could impress you at all. U need to look a little deeper than skin color.

  • I would like to know what you are impressed about and why. Can you tell me that? Thanks!

  • It's a habit. Just like smoking or drugs, if you do it regulary it will take hold of your mind. And just like the aforementioned examples, is VERY difficult to master. The decision is whether you master it, or be mastered by it?

  • So true. Thank you for the comment.

  • It is a habit. But I tell you that doing someone wrong is not a habit. You have to actually want to harm them every time. What I am saying is that people that so called cuss or curse do not always intend to harm another. Mastering a word is not getting rid of it. Black is a curse word that most do not see the need to get rid of.

  • I use to cuss a lot but then I started watching kids all the time so now I hardly ever do

  • well u know...ure not insulting anyone...youre just expressing anger verbally

  • Not all the time a person express anger. In that manner cursing is almost wrong depending on what you are angry about. And yes you can say anything as long as you are not insulting another. But it is wrong for someone to say you are cursing when you are not even though you said a "so called" curse word. Have you looked up the word? It says a lot about intent. In that case any word can be used to curse a person or thing right?

  • cursing is just words i dont even notice sometimes that people curse like i say wow cursing! but the only resan i saw that one video that wow its in the bible. that its bad to curse thats bad for me.

  • theyre just words. i dont see the harm.

  • Example: Would you think it acceptable for a five year old to call her mother a "b"?

  • no, but that is the responsibility of the mother to slap the kid upside the head and teach respect. i think the parents should be teaching the kids values and responsibility and morality and things of that nature.

  • ... No Comment.

  • I would but then people like Jack Thompson, Anne Colter and others like the bunch start talking

  • Good point. lol

  • man wat you sad make me think i do not look up oponde god but look down on him and see all of the bad thing he did in that book so i never ues cursing in less im hrt or ues opone by them or just ues wiszdom it hrts them more then cursing enyday ha h ah ah ah ha h h aha ha ha so men funny time wen i talk do them how curs

  • Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts, pastor. On occasion we must check ourselves in the mirror for more than our image. Yes, the majority of my cursing is at the work place. This is probably because the higher level of stress at work affects my discipline or awareness of what is spewing from my sewer of a mouth. It's only an indication of what's in our thoughts and it's negative energy. I much prefer to speak softly but it's hard to maintain your thoughts in the rat race. Aaaargh!

  • Thank you for your comments.

  • i tried but its hard.. its just part of my vocab now but i want to to try to stop =/

  • I completely understand. It is a process you have to keep working at.

  • help him

  • No Promises!! I will try.

  • This is the reason I added the "Limit It" to the title. Cursing is a deep-seated habit for most of us. Many people even curse in their thinking and under their breath.

Thank you for trying. That is all I am suggesting.
