awesome mate! sounds very similar to my zr 1.4 :D bet yours could rape mine tho currently all ive done is lowered it and given it a k&n 57i.. looking into sports cats and janspeed manifolds next then potentially a honda civic rotrex supercharger, as its of course running the k-series block it will be very compatible :) runs 111bhp atm im hoping to have 170 by the time im finished ;) lol

very nice set-up you have there, ignore the derogatory comments mate that is one hell of a car and surely a match for motors costing twice that much. Nice one, i love the black bumper look too, keeping that on my Nova. Hope to be running a similar engine in that one day :)

Engine is 1.6 ecotec, ported head Piper 285 cams, S/S four branch exhaust,Jenvey Throttle bodies and DTA Ecu, Not mega power, prefered to spend the dosh on top suspension and good brakes.

but the weight diffrence would be quality with 1.6 and no handling issued with more weight at the front

always ally block the 2.0 and handling is always sortable with the right suspension setup, poly bushes and rose joints, but the 1.6 is lighter as the ally block option is about £4000 and then the 1.6 is also cheaper insurance

i h8 2.0s u can make a faster than alot of 2.0 with a decent moded 1,6

the 1.6 will give a better power curve but can only be tuned to 230 bhp max which is about £10,000 unless you do your own engine work and a 2.0 will go to 230bhp alot cheaper or for the £10,000 you can get upto 290bhp in the c20xe
