hardest thing to watch in my entire life!.. ive never been so upset. props to MALKIN, fleury, (not crosby- he didnt do anything) and the other pens on a great series.. they were down 0-2 twice that playoffs and showed a lot of toughness and determination to come back against two reallyyy good teams. But love my wings forever- this is our year!

I'm a huge wings fan and it was so hard to watch the penguins celebrate on our ice (very few teams have), but at the same time it was great to see a young hard working team win the cup and I for one respect the penguins a whole lot more for the effort. Too bad we have to wait until march to see them here again. Congrats penguins, you earned it!

True Penguins fans understand the beauty of victory more than any other team's fans in the league. Pittsburgh had a great team throughout the 90's but totally collapsed in the early 2000's. The 4 or 5 years before finally making the playoffs in 06 were quite painful.

The last 4 years have been better though,

2006- Dead last in the league

2007 -Lost in 1st round

2008 - Lost in Cup Finals

2009 - Won Cup Final in 7 games

2010 - Win cup by 4 game sweep(?)

Im a true Red Wings fan, but I am more of a fan of fair hockey. This series was so not called down the middle. Im not just saying this because we lost, but there was the hold on Franzen by Crosby, but since the "Golden Boy" got hurt it went uncalled. Their goalie, took a shot at Holnstroms (sp) legs when he was standing OUTSIDE the crease, and again, it went uncalled. So, Pitts. thank Sidney Crosby for blowing the refs before each game. If it wasnt for him, Wings would have HAD this series.

I would say that fleury saved this game but all around the pens played as a team. It showed through the entire playoffs and game 7 was truely a spectacular show of teamwork. Babcock blamed it on his team being run down but the pens just played better. Great season boys lets hope my caps do better next year!
