And anyone pissing on Myles here for his vocals doesn't realize the song is sped up when they play it live. That increase in tempo plus Myles having to play guitar at the same time is going to effect timing and breathing...the reason you hear him cut off notes. It's the same with almost any metal/rock band that plays their songs faster live (Metallica for an easy example).

In the studio, you can add layers to vocals to make them sound more "full". It's a common technique. Myles does this on the higher notes. He also has infinity chances to sing it right int he studio. It doesn't make him a bad vocalist. But it's not going to sound the same live. Quit criticizing it and take it for what it is, because it is truly amazing.

@pasitedrummer It's a sound barrier, in this case it helps keep his drums from bleeding into the other mics or the other instruments from bleeding into his mix, it also helps quiet the drums down so it's all more balanced. They're pretty useful for churches and other small venues and the like because they help keep drums down so as to not kill the front rows hearing and to help keep everything balanced. :P
