  • @knvb1123 You lose a little credibility when you also take the time to mention that you can play it better too, you know.

  • @sk8er2193 Way to sound like an ass. This trumpet soloist is quite good. If you really do a better job, then post a video of your playing, because I don't believe you.

Good job, everyone involved. Very nice rendition.

  • I thought the breathe at 5:06 was awesome!

  • im playing this piece in highschool and its really nice but the trumpet soloist in this isnt so good im playing the solo myself and i can play it better fantastic piece though

  • @sk8er2193 Umm....congrats? I happen to think the soloist sounds great considering we had 2 days to practice this piece.

  • @sk8er2193 Hey, this soloist is excellent. Even though I can play it better, I don't rip on him. There's simply no need. He performed excellently under pressure. Great tone quality throughout. Excellent slotting.

  • Actually composed by William Billings in the 1700's. This is an arrangement by Schuman.

  • Sounds awesome! We played this at the Festival of Winds at USF this year, its such a moving song.

  • It is really :) I'm glad you like it!

  • who played this?

  • One of the honor bands at FSU's Tri-State Music Festival (I played in this band :) )

  • props, indeed.

this composer is not really "my cup of tea"

but I know how to appreciate greatness where I see it.

he is one of my mother's favorites. (now that I think about it, that's probably the reason as to why I don't like him...) lol

  • Well it was a beautiful piece, and even more fun to play :)
