When you travel & clear customs as a British citizen , do u profess u are a British or insist staunchly proudly diehard scream: "I am a Tibetan, & a Tibetan citizen." I am a foreigner who's been watching performances of this Tibetan star. All the songs he sings are Tibetan (though sung in Mandarin cos of the large Han fans). The dance is also Tibetan & the costumes are Tibetan. So I don't see any 'cultural genocide'. What amazes me is he keeps receiving 'hida' from the audience - that's Tibetan culture, isn't it? Many Westerners are disappointed when they don't see what they wished to see. A rich China brings stabilty to the world. Why r the West so paranoid?
