@tri2061990 most unfortunately, the Russians had to endure and survive an era of dictator-promoters of a failed ideology that lasted most of the 20th century. Today, it appears to be a different country looking towards the future. They have a lot going for them: scientific knowledge, technology, natural resources, a fearsome military (don't mess with them) and specially a resilience second to none. Time will tell what Russia will become over time.
