convenient editing doesn't show Maria's shameful lack of reaction after Golovin's ankle roll. Tatiana was in agony, while Maria stood at the back of the court checking her strings. Focus is one thing, complete lack of humanity another.

@JTennisVideos That WAS my opinion on the match - and how would I know Maria contacted Tatiana after the match? Plus how do YOU know? Unless you're in her coaching team, was this in some press release? I know what I saw - but I don't believe everything I read.

@thetinalyons Well she (Ma-Sha) is indeed like that. But then at first it was not possible for her to know that Tatiana had twisted her ankle. Later however...I remember during the live broadcast that she was really pumping up herself and acting as if that being injured was Tatiana´s discredit. But again you have to give her the benefit of doubt. Most of the players indeed run over to the other side when they see their opponents crying in agony. Maria has no sympathy probably.

@thetinalyons Maria said in an interview post match that she simply thought Tatiana was cramping..and had she been aware of the severity of the situation, she would've been more concerned. Even when they were walking off court, Maria joined the crowd in giving Tatiana a round of applause. And I agree with the owner of this vid, Maria did contact her afterwards to check up on how she was doing. A lot of people like to hate Maria for nothing, but at least back it up with reasonable evidence.

@mariahfan444 And did you see their exchange at the net when Golovin retired? Maria looked genuinely concerned for her. Sharapova may be cold with her killer instincts on court, but she definitely doesn't have a lack of humanity. Her philanthropy speaks for itself and how much she helps with Chernobyl recovery and youths in Russia.

@thetinalyons And what the hell should Maria do? Pretend to be a medic? Or be fake and pretend to talk to her to make her feel better. They're professional athletes, not actors. Did she cause the accident? No. I assume you are a hypocrite based on how you assess the situation.

Tatiana was a real talent. It is a shame that injuries like this one have held her back. It would be amazing to see her return to professional tennis.
