  • nazi b17 wow

  • ROTFL. Could be anything more silly?

    ...

  • Seriously is it that hard to recognize Matsumoto's style??? I'd know it at the drop of a hat anywhere.

  • I just want to 'F' that blonde girl

  • @pakurangaguy SHES IN HER 90S STILL WANT THAT

  • 日本人のドイツ人に対するイメージ。

    実際に冷酷なところと、純粋で暖かいところがはっきりしてる。

    戦時の彼らなら、戦争と割り切って人を殺すことに、特に軍人はなんのためらいもなかったろう。

  • Reiji Matsumoto japan

  • this is the director who wrote spaceship yamato, and galaxy express 999 is that ture?

  • now i see it! it's the same artist/creator of the "galaxy railways" series! dun dun dun! *light bulb goes on*! that blond chick is what told me...

  • say what you will about the German millitary but it should be noted they atleast had the balls to stand and face their enemies head on unlike the vietcong who used traps or the Taliban who just send suicide bombers or cars full of explosives to do their dirty work for them

  • なんとなく日本人が見てみた

  • GERMANS WERE ALWAYS THE BEST DRESSED..AND DESPITE WHAT SOME REPORTS SAID..THEY WERE MEN OF HONOR.....LIVING BY A CODE.......THERE WAS AN END DUB VERSION OF THIS...WHERE IS IT???

  • @1942PANTHERV Because honor means gassing raping and burning because you feel the need for Aryan power. Wow what great human beings....

  • the wise old man is always very short

  • i dont get it

why are there B-17 on a German Airbase?

  • @1makermovie The airbase commander said it was stolen. Probably shot down by German AA, but managed to land intact, was then captured by Germans, transported to the airbase and repaired.

There are some cases when Nazis were able to force enemy planes to land and then capture them. They mostly were used for stealing technology and "spy" flights.

  • @Lanthoriel Thats how the Russians got their hands on the B29, copied it and called it the TU-4.

  • @1makermovie KG200 used captured B-17s for various uses IRL

  • 戦争は悲しいものだな

  • @ImperiumArianes666 Remember when there was a military dictatorship that was determined to fight until every single last -one- of its people were dead rather than surrender, forcing an extremely weary military and a collapsing economy to prolong a war it could never win, thereby making the only sort of viable victory, besides the atomic bomb, to be a -massive- invasion by four different nations which would result in hundreds of thousands of deaths? Necessary Evil, my friend. Necessary Evil.

  • I don't get why anime is so upsessed with the nazis. I f someone knew, please tell me.

  • @CookiesAndGuns95 they look badass with their uniforms

  • @homoKaliptus I know, but note how alot of anime, not all of it, revolves the nazis somehow, whether it's by dress, by acting, by story, whatever. And it doesn't have to be a military-style of a series to copy them. I just think the animators should think of another story with originality instead of writing the same stuff. I'm not saying it's bad, don't get me wrong.

  • @homoKaliptus Yes because killers of millions are badass

  • Yeah, for a Luftwaffe pilot his hair is a tiny bit too long and sloppy (-:

My grandfather told me that when he was in school the teacher would try to grasp everyone's hair. If he could grasp your hair with two fingers, he would pull on it as hard as he could - and that meant that you needed to get a haircut. And my Grandfather wasn't even a Nazi or in service.

  • Why its said in hindsight in the anime? Or why did we drop the bombs?

  • Emo Luttwaffe pilots? :S

  • I'm not sure where the controversy stems from.

  • a B-17 is not that spacious, I have been in a few. But awesome anime!

  • Soldiers are innocent only the rulers who force them through drafts and sacred oaths pushed them to war. Each soldier have their story.

  • wait why do the Nazi's have a B-17?

  • @Jaket2000 It happened every now and then during the war that Allied planes were forced to land on German territory and not always were the crews able to destroy them.

The German Luftwaffe, repairing those planes where possible, created even a special unit called "Wanderzirkus" ("Flying Circus") that toured the airbases and gave the pilots hints on how best attack these planes.

Other captured planes were used for espionage and other things.

  • @KrautGoesWild No duh, we done the same with japenese and german aircraft.

  • @Jaket2000 The Luftwaffe was able to capture a few over the course of the war, mainly through damaged examples landing in enemy territory or piecing together parts from crashed examples. about 40 examples served with I/KG 200 and received the cover designation Dornier Do 200.

  • @Kutter78 I see, now if they took some P-38s they would have been in buisness.

  • @Jaket2000 Wait..why do you not see ALL parts of this to find out

  • @stridertenryu

    bahahahahah

  • when was this on again?

  • Nah, this was a real case-why I like this series-but they fail epically at the Flying Fortress. I've flown in one-it's smaller, and the window up top? That's further front, by the radio operator.

  • yah i was just thinking that

  • Yeah, they kinda botched it. But still, good show, great ideas, and possibly a real case!

  • his hair is way unsat wheres his commander

  • i thouhgt germany never developed an atomic bomb because we bombed the shit out of them that and they kept putting there jewish scientists into ovens

  • 誤訳が多いですね。

  • The German Atomic Program was advanced indeeed. Its chief scientist was Professor Diebner. They even made 1 or 2 small tests n 1944-45. But they were never able to assemble a proper Atomic Bomb like the Americans were.

  • These guys need hair cuts

  • @northerbrewer No way in hell a German officer would have hair that long, especially an Oberleutnant in the Luftwaffe, (Luft were considered equiv to cavalry, and cavalry is Prussian)

  • @Plawranc

You're correct, but look at Marseile's case,he had longer hair than the other Luftwaffe pilots.

  • Meseeji wa kantan: hontoo no akuma wa amerika.

  • Even though this was very controversial for positive light on an axis soldier, I loved every minute of this. Despite the axis' acts were most vile, they are still human, no matter what.

  • @P3WNAGE nah, it is pretty obvious what this anime aims to do: a Japanese anime creator trying to say Americans are worse than Nazis through his imaginary scenario of a Nazi soldier defying the idea of nuke. Slap US right in the face, i guess

  • @P3WNAGE If the acts of axis were mostly vile were acts of allies what good?!

  • @P3WNAGE They lost their right to be called human when they became murderous monsters.

  • @OwMyBrains Right on. You just can't justify the murder of millions for the sake of one race, one order.

  • @armydude102 Well, it kind of depends on the person. You can either be that one brainwashed fascist soldier, zealous to follow commands. Or that one guy who probably has ideas otherwise, but will probably keep his mouth shut in order to even survive. Honestly, my point may not be valid, because it's coming from a youngster like me, who is only replying on inference. I think it's only the people who kill for pleasure or hatred, are the true cold blooded marauders of the world.

  • @P3WNAGE sack of shit

  • @P3WNAGE Axis "PILOTS" are not to be counted as Nazis or Nazi Soldiers. Most of them do not agree with the sickening ways of the Nazis. They are just brave soldiers fighting for their country even they knew the war is lost. Although some pilots got their training as a child from Hitler Youth, those in the Luftwaffe who agrees with the Nazi ideas better join the SS. The German ace, Erich Hartmann, is a good example of a "Non Nazi" pilot.

  • @P3WNAGE LOL

  • the peoples in this video looks like more asiatic than german face...

  • Hehe, that is because its anime. xD

  • Look at his hair. He wouldve been shot for hair that long lol.

  • For ppl that don't think the Germans didnt operate captured B-17s look up the squadron called KG 500.

  • Roaklin: You're thinking of Kampfgeschwader 200. 500 doesn't exist.

  • typo on my part lol

  • The MC looks like Shin Kazama from Area 88 do all anime fighter pilots look like that?

  • Kaoru Shintani (Area88) assisted Reiji Matsumoto in his work from 1973.

    you ok?

  • Ah....that explains it....Thanks for the clarification!

  • It's the peek a bangs hair style.

  • no dude... NO, the B29 was the best bomber period, those were still in service during the korean war 6 years later

  • The B-29 by Korea had been replaced by the B-50 which was the same airframe with some minor modifications and, I think, a different engine that could perform at higher altitudes. Still a great airplane.

  • Nazi-Germany wounld never have been built, Hitler saw Atomic-physics as Jewish-physics and thus deemed it unworthy

  • This is a Cartoon, it doesn´t have to be correct (it isn´t, there never was an German Atomic Bomb, there were plans for it but it wasn´t build).

  • B-17 was heavily armored but an obsolete and outdatet strategic Bomber, only effective in pure masses and B-24 even worse but the B-29 was really state of the art.

  • Drama baby, drama!

German army with japanese mentality & glorifications = hilarious. ^^

  • wow this is inaccurate. Germany didn't complete the atom bomb.Albert Einstein started the project but didn't complete it. Einstein sent letters to FDR in 1938 urging him to make an a-bomb in fear of Germany making one first. Oppenheimer was the first man to make the a-bomb. in this anime Germany made the first a-bomb. they also support a monsters work(Hitler). i have a question. is Hitler in power in this anime? cuz it doesn't seem to follow history accurately. good anime over all tho

  • I think germany was defeated just in time, it could have been a matter of a few months for them to finish it. The german scientists even finished it, but then for the americans. Originally it was planned to use it with the V2 Rocktes, which would have been a Weapon that you cant even hear or see coming, but causes terrible devastation. Thank god they didn't finish it in time. They wound't have had any scruples to use it.

  • thankfully they were defeated. it is also good that they didn't have enough wealth to complete it.

  • Thats wasn´t a question of wealth you idiot

    -.-

  • if they had more money they could of produced a lot more weoponry and that as we know it would have ended the war in their favor. im just stating something that could of happened like you, asshole.

  • So you think if the 3rd Reich would have had more money, they just would have bought themselves an atom bomb? Sorry but thats just so.. idiotic. -.-

  • any nation on the brink of defeat wouldnt have any scruples to launch nukes if they had them.

it goes for all of us, just not germans.

  • The German Program was advanced enough that after the Russians overran Pennemunde, it only took them 48 months to complete a weapon.

And with the Manhattan Project THOROUGHLY penetrated by Soviet spies (Klaus Fuchs+Co.) they already knew which direction of development was better.

The first Soviet nuclear reactor was fueled using uranium confiscated from the remains of the German atomic bomb project.

  • this is gay no real german during world war 2 would of been all emotional over an atomic bomb especialy not a pilot

  • in the end, warfare is the art of people killing other people. both sides will have their monsters as well as their heroes and humanitarians. all it takes is a fit of self disregard and courage to make a hero but it takes someone with true character to keep their humanity.

-some guy who said it. i dont know who but im sure it's been said before.

  • its an anime of course they are gunna make ppl look gay

  • its a recoverd b-17. germans had a few of those in WW2. they used them to fly recon missions.

and BTW B29 was the best bomber of WW2

  • A GERMAN B-17? MESSED UP

  • During WWII, the Luftwaffe really did possess B-17s. I believe they were called the BV-200, for pure propaganda reasons.

  • I guess it was DO-200 and they were used in the Kampfgeschwader 200 for special purposes.

  • ah, yes Dornier not Blohm & Voss.

  • Do your homework before posting an uneducated comment.

  • what the HELL did you just say?!?!
