@CHARRRLII14 Everyone sees it differently.. To me, it's how YOU view it that matters. I use it once in a while simply as a symbol for METAL and don't have a problem with it... or as a sign of rebellion- but rebellion against evil, tyranny, etc.

I won't do it with my hands, though- for conscience sake.. plus, it seems childish to me.

Again, your opinion is what matters- how YOU use it.

Make a joyful noise unto the lord, and thats what they did. If you feel they are not praising or worshiping God with this style of music, then you need to read the lyrics and maybe even contact Steve Rowe himself. I think he has contact info on his website. I am also reminded of time back in the late 70's and 80's when similar minded people thought certain other types of music were of the Devil like the rock sounds of Petra, but we all know better now.

Word on Petra. I gave my life to the Lord after I listened to a CD by Petra, so Petra will always have a special place in my heart. The self-titled album by Mortification is full of wisdom. It really gets me in touch with the Lord. I think that what might be turbing you off is in the style of music, which is extreme. Everything was created by Jesus and it is the devil to pervert everything that is good. It is about time to take back extreme music back to where it belongs. Back to Jesus that is.
