To assume he is drunk is wrong. He could have a kidney failure or something else causing acute pain. I stumbled into an ER following kidney surgery when my pain meds ran out. I was6 or 7 months pregnant and had tried not to take more meds than absolutely necessary. My parents were aiding me move but I remember so vividly that the police officer in the ER didn't bother to help attract medical staff.
