It's nothin like Texas high school football. You can imitate it, think you know about or think you got it. But in Texas we work hard on the field, mat room, weight room and bootcamp. It's on another level down here
My senior year of football is coming up next fall, damn I'm really gonna miss it once its over. I'm gonna savor every minute of practice, even the pain and exhaustion of conditioning, cause there is absolutely nothing like high school football.

This was my sophomore year in high school and my season was ended just 3 games in by a series of 5 concussions... I'll never play football again... I didn't give it my all and I'll regret that for the rest of my life. My coaches literally saved my life. If it weren't for them I'd still be in jail. Playing halfway through my 8th grade year to the beginning of 10th is too short. Oh God I wish I could play it for just one more year...
I just finished my last season of playing but i'll never forget the fear, the passion, the thrill of being apart of something great when I took that field for the first time. Black and red will ALWAYS run through my veins. Best 3 years of my life by far. Take every opportunity you get, play every down as hard as you can. I think I speak for the other graduates here that you'll regret not playing harder when you had the chance.

i only won 2 games in my two years of varsity football, but that didn't matter. what mattered is that i was doing what i loved. what mattered was that, those who stuck with it and didn't quit even though we weren't winning. what mattered was those 9 or 10 seniors that kept going from freshman foot ball to playing as a senior. We fought together, we lost together, and we never gave up in any game no matter the score. i will miss this game!
I love this and everything he said is absolutely true. Some guys seem to think a girl can't know the game or love the game as much as the players. But I worked along side the team every day, worked out with them, fought along side them on the sidelines at every game, I felt invincible when the team won and crushed when we lost. I've played football since i was 6 years old and quit after my freshman year. I was burnt out, i lost my love for the game. nothing could motivate me to get back out there. My high school football team played and 9 months out of the year, it sucked. surprisingly when i quit i was worrying if i was going to regret it down the road, but i dont. I know what football is all about, learned my football lessons about life for the most part. I play basketball and lax now and loving it
this friday my 7-3 team is going against the 10-0 reigning state champions for the class A title. they ended our season last year on the same game missed a field goal by 4 inches. that will not happen again. we are going to win and make history because our small group of guys arent 11 seperate heart beats on the field our hearts beat as one our minds think as one and we want it more we have nothing to lose they have everthing. THIS IS OUR TIME!

@1794mp I know how you feel it is my senior year too and in the first game I tore my mcl, meniscus and broke my leg in two spots. the doc said 6-8 weeks for my knee and he didn't know i broke my leg til i started practicing after only 2 weeks. i practiced for two weeks and i went to my trainer and told him i was having some serious pain in my leg so i got an x-ray and my fibula was broken in two spots. one week later i got a cast around my leg so i can play.Playing on a broken leg and a bum knee

im 5"9 and 155 pounds. its my first year of varsity football. the year before this year i was part of our freshman team that went undefeated. im not a starter, but im constantly getting my ass kicked day in and day out from the bigger starters when im on scout team. My football team has never had more than 30 people and we have made it to the superbowl for 4 straight years, we call our playing Iron Man football because we have to play Offense,Defense and special teams... no breaks, no back ups, no room for mistakes we play like no tomorrow... how about your highschool?

This year was my first year playing football (freshmen). never scored a td or played more than 2 minuets till my senior year never lose faith and go as hard as you can whenever your in MAKE them notice you i ended my highschool career with only 3 touchdowns my last one a 60 yard reception in our playoff game. 6 man texas football is about as raw as it gets and ive loved every second and will miss it forever

On my first day of 2-a-days, no pads, I strained my shoulder by hitting a dumby wrong. I didn't play much, but when I did, I put 110% into EVERY DAMN HIT! I only started the last 3 games. I never once gave up, even when my coach was in my face screaming at me for a mistake I kept making over and over again. I worked at it, and became a starting safety as a Freshman. Football is life, so let's start livin!
I am a sophomore in Highschool. Last season, my freshman year on JV, my team had to play a team in our conference for a second time. We won the first game, barely. The second time, half our team was ineligible. It was the last game of the season. We wanted that win more than anything. My team was in a dark time, we needed to come together to win. My coach played this video for us just before taking the field. We lost that game 18-32.. no one EVER gave up!!

this friday my 7-3 team is going against the 10-0 reigning state champions for the class A title. they ended our season last year on the same game missed a field goal by 4 inches. that will not happen again. we are going to win and make history because our small group of guys arent 11 seperate heart beats on the field our hearts beat as one our minds think as one and we want it more we have nothing to lose they have everthing. @1794mp I know how you feel it is my senior year too and in the first game I tore my mcl, meniscus and broke my leg in two spots. the doc said 6-8 weeks for my knee and he didn't know i broke my leg til i started practicing after only 2 weeks. i practiced for two weeks and i went to my trainer and told him i was having some serious pain in my leg so i got an x-ray and my fibula was broken in two spots. one week later i got a cast around my leg so i can play.Playing on a broken leg and a bum knee

im 5"9 and 155 pounds. its my first year of varsity football. the year before this year i was part of our freshman team that went undefeated. im not a starter, but im constantly getting my ass kicked day in and day out from the bigger starters when im on scout team. Lately ive been saying that im gonna step up my game and prove to myself and the coaches that im the guy that wants to play, but i haven't yet. watching this video makes me realize that i need to step up now or not step up at all.

Im a Junior currently. I got switched to quarterback this summer. I had never played it. Im 5ft 10in and i beat out two seniors for the starting quarterback. We win our home opener last weekend in our brand new stadium and it felt amazing. What would the world be without football?!

Heres my situation. I Didn't play jv football because in 9th grade I didn't know shit, and this year I couldn't try out because of back problems, and I thought I was not ready, but people who dont know shit about the situation im in keep saying try out try out when I dont want to. But I have plans to make the varsity team, my junior year. Is it really hard to make varsity cuz I planned to put all my heart into it and I am pretty good at football. This year was my first year playing football (freshmen). I didn't know what to expect, i wasn't the strongest,fastest,biggest,or toughest player on that field..It took getting used to playing tackle football, since i have obviously played before, just not tackle..I kind of lost interest in the the game that i thought hated me because i didn't show up to practice..But now this vid proves that if you have the heart,determination,and commitment for the game, it will love you back.God Bless

Hey i've been the smallest kid on my football since i started im going to be a senior and im barely weighing 130 but i hit the weight room hard i started varsity my jr year on varsity i was the only jr to start and its because i always gave my best on and off the field no reason you can't start give it your all and ask yourself did you leave it all out on and off the field? I'll tell you guys this right now, I graduated 2 years ago...football was my life, but I wasn't given the opportunity to play in college like I had hoped. And I know it's cliche, but don't slack every other play, because you will regret it when you look back on your playin days. I know I regret some times where I did that and I would give anything in the world to go back and change it. So all you seniors play your fuckin hardest and cherish every minute with your brothers, cause it WILL be over

On my first day of 2-a-days, no pads, I strained my shoulder by hitting a dumby wrong. I didn't play much, but when I did, I put 110% into EVERY DAMN HIT! I only started the last 3 games. I never once gave up, even when my coach was in my face screaming at me for a mistake I kept making over and over again. I worked at it, and became a starting safety as a Freshman. Football is life, so let's start livin!

I am a sophomore in Highschool. Last season, my freshman year on JV, my team had to play a team in our conference for a second time. We won the first game, barely. The second time, half our team was ineligible. It was the last game of the season. We wanted that win more than anything. My team was in a dark time, we needed to come together to win. My coach played this video for us just before taking the field. We lost that game 18-32.. no one EVER gave up!!
